STRONG this!

Good job on the squat PR dood!

Training will resume on saturday with me beginning 5/3/1, building strength and being smart about training all while hitting PRs!

Changing from westside? Why is this if you dont mind me asking?

Been running it for 6-7 months now and I just feel that I was testing strength too much. Nothing with the system, that was MYSELF doing that. Something more structured such as 5/3/1 which Ive done with success will get me back on track as long as I stick to it. Right now, I’m still a beginner. I don’t need super advanced shit, I just need to lift hard, heavy and smart.

Even though I’ve not tried westside, I’d tend to agree just from the evidence of what the vast majority of strong raw lifters do.

Throwing down a recommendation for smolov though for some quicker gains (mostly squat wise), I tend to agree with achillis on here in the sense that 5/3/1 is better if your already at a pretty advanced level and looking to gain very gradually on lifts. I still have a lot of experimentation to do with programming but there’s a lot out there besides 5/3/1 which allows for quicker gains it would seem (even though many see good progress on 531, no doubt)

LOl wut? Do Sheiko bro, don’t be a pussy.

New training to be done, need to finish off this rog!
