Goal going in to this was to get atleast 700lbs push/pull. Well with the 275 and 425 I hit my goal! Pretty happy with that. Learned a few things that I will note at the bottom.

Notes: I am pretty happy with how today went. Bench overall went great although it was tough having nobody for a press command. I just took it til the bar was motionless on my chest and pressed. In hindsight on deadlifts I should have went from 405 to around 425 for my second instead of going straight to 445. I have now found where my sticking point is on conventional deadlifts so I will choose my max effort exercises to work on that. Things such as reverse band deadlifts, pulls against bands, rack pulls against bands, etc.

Finishing this semester already is crazy. I won’t be done until the end of June with my exams.
Congrats! 20lb bench PR is no joke, very very good form and arch you’ve got going, can tell it’s a knock on effect of your training style/training partners. 60lb conventional PR sounds crazy, can’t remember how much you sumo’d though?

I went into the strength and conditioning place I will be volunteering/interning at this summer to meet the guys and stuff. Had an awesome time. Turns out I’m going to be able to train there while Im home. Going to be awesome, have everything I need, including a reverse hyper! Going to change my schedule from tuesday, thursday, saturday, sunday to monday, wednesday, friday, saturday since they are closed sundays. Still going in a couple hours to pull today though but then will hit bench saturday and that’ll start the new schedule. Should be fun!
Bench is going up nicely… solid close gripping. Interning/volunteering and training at that place sounds awesome, pretty damn jealous.
