NICE! I am going to have to make it up to Storrs to catch a few matches this year for sure. You know, to provide the boys with some pointers and such. ![]()
St. John’s on the 23rd should be a good one; Fox is actually going to be playing it nationally on their soccer channel.

Oooh. I have that channel. NICE! I am becoming a bit of a soccer geek - I have seen almost every Manchested United match this year (including the pay-per-views).
Glad to see more americans are picking up on soccer. Check out this link that Chris Shugart pposted to see the world’s best in action (kuz, there are like 5 shots of cristian ronaldo, you probably know him by now, being a manchester fan):

I thought that you were only watching those games because of your secret man-crush on Ryan Giggs!
I’ve actually got an old Man-U jersey in my closet.

That kid’s cool.
This summer, there was a kid, 9 years old. We had them playing Crazy Football, which is the same as regular football (soccer) but played with a rugby ball. It’s just more fun.
The kid controlled the rugby ball the same as he did a regular football, without looking down and never with a problem. He also cottoned on to the fact that the goalies were short and scored (in the match I reffed) 9 goals using a controlled lob over the goalie’s head. Every time.
Kids are amazing. And they make you feel like you’re useless sometimes.
