Granted he’s not muscular by T-Nation’s standards, but IT’S NOT MEANT TO BE. It’s an example for regular people who just want to be “fit”, and seriously, that’s not a bad goal. If more people looked like that earth would be a lot better place. Like it or not but that kind of body is healthy. Low bodyfat and SOME (ok maybe not) muscle. [/quote]
I see your point to a degree, but he has no muscle - at all. Any grown male with little-to-no fat who doesn’t lift would look the same.
I think it’s easy for most people to forget that everyone has SOME muscle, you wouldn’t be able to walk around or brush your teeth if you didn’t. HOWEVER, no one is impressed with this degree of muscle. That is why the little high school kids wearing their wife beater tank tops at the gym will forever be frowned upon. You don’t look diesel, you just look like a normal guy who’s not fat is SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE.
Is the guy in this ad muscular? Hell no. Does he look ‘NOn-Fat’? (possibly ‘healthy’) OKay, I’ll give that an affirmation. Maybe that’s all most of the population strives for. No skin off my back, just makes me look better -lol
Heck, I can do it in two weeks! I was looking though my buddy’s supplement stash and his several bottles of protein said it’s clinically proven to add 8.4lbs of muscle in 2 weeks. You apparently don’t even have to lift weights while you do this. Awesome.
