My First Time

That’s funny. I think I recall someone on this site who came up with a method for measuring ball shrinkage and growth (hope that wasn’t this thread!). You would get an actual measuring cup, fill it with a certain amount of water, and dip your balls in. Do that at given times throughout the cycle and you will have a pretty accurate idea of what’s going on down there! Discounting scrotal contraction and expansion. I guess you would want to standardize water temperature, too, in that case.

Not that I would actually do this. No seriously…

LOL, that’s one way of doing it I suppose! But I like my wife’s method better.

How drastically did you change your diet during stasis and taper? Are you keeping your caloric intake at a maintenance level, or are you still “over” eating?

My diet’s stayed the same as on cycle, but I wouldn’t say I was over-eating. I bumped up my protein by 50 grams a day when I first started the cycle and I’ve continued with that for the PCT. My diet is pretty consistent most of the year, except for the week before a fight/tournament when I cut out milk, bread, and evening meals.

Here’s an example of what I eat during an average day (on and off AAS),
5:30- preworkout shake,
AM TRAINING,
7:00- postworkout shake,
8:00- 6 or 7 eggs and a couple cups of oatmeal with blueberries or raspberries,
10:00- 2 cups of homemade yogurt and some fruit,
NOON- leftovers from last night’s dinner,
3:00- more yogurt and 2 or 3 peanutbutter and jam sandwiches,
5:00- dinner is usually salmon, deer, or moose, with rice or potatoes, and veggies,
PM TRAINING,
8:30- postworkout shake,
9:00- some more dinner.

Deer, and moose?
Do you hunt by any chance?

What Jellyroll. I missed this thread before. I just posted my own taper experience on the “Bill Roberts: Test Taper thread” and it’s pretty similar to yours.

“I’m into my 5th week of PCT, and I’m getting acne on my shoulders only, nowhere else. Weird.
I don’t like being so conservative with my training right now, I want to do more.”

Exactly what happened to me! The acne and I basically retained all cardio, mass and strenght, but I can only train 2-3 times a week, as opposed to 4-5 times. Superman is sleeping

It is the best damn PCT I ever did. I thank Prisoner for sharing this tip with all of us!

Yes, but I hunt for the practical food side of things more-so than the sporting end. I live in a small rural community so it’s not too hard to find game (deer and elk sometimes wander through our yard) and it saves us alot of money in groceries. It’s pretty healthy too.

SwD, I noticed that you said you ran clomid during the 100mg weeks, how did that work out? Some of the suggestions I’ve seen say to run a SERM at the end of the taper, although Prisoner doesn’t think it’s necessary.

Well, I think this thread is just about done now that my PCT is over. It was a good first run, and I want to thank everyone who helped me out with advice and encouragement. It made a big difference knowing I could count on you guys to answer my questions and keep me on track. It’s good to have a place like this where I can get information and talk openly about steroids.

4-1/2 months after I started this, I feel really good that “my first time” worked out the way it did. I made a few mistakes, but I accomplished most of the physical goals I set out for this cycle, and gained a better understanding of AAS use. And hopefully along the way I contributed a little bit to the collective knowledge here too. Every time I’m on this forum I learn something new, and it seems like the more I learn, the more I realize I don’t know shit!

Thanks again guys,
JR

Oh yeah, if anybody has questions about something I didn’t cover, just ask.

Jelly I been following this thread from the start, great job, very informative. I’m in the middle of my first cycle myself at the moment and always enjoyed reading what you had to say. Thanks.

You’re a champ =)

Right on! I have a deep freeze full of venison myself. High quality, inexpensive protein.
Great thread
Cheers,

Man, I’m almost sorry to see it go! I looked forward to the scoop, day to day. I admire you for taking the time, also.

Thanks,

It’s been a terrific read, JR. I’d just like to say that your thread was the direct inspiration for my posting my own first time and logging it consistently. Great work and thanks!
