My First Time
jb99 wrote:
why the hell would you take amoxicillin? Listen I used to get the same shit my first couple times, it would get so bad I could barley sit down, take some advil, ice it a couple times a day and it will slowly go away. A lot of times it has to do with the way you are injecting
I took the antibiotics because I wasn’t sure about the swelling lump. I started reading about infections and abscesses, got a little worried, and I didn’t want to go to the doctor, but I also didn’t want to get sick and then go to emergency. I erred on the side of caution.

I have to be careful sometimes when I’m hurt or sick because I have a dulled pain response from a nerve damage incident in my childhood. My body feels the pain, just not nearly as acutely, and I often create more damage to myself unwittingly. On a few occasions a nagging “sprain” has turned out to be broken ribs or ankles.

My reasoning was that there wasn’t any problems for 5 days after the injection, so maybe it was some trauma from the workout. The thing is, I don’t know shit about AAS in the real world. I can read all I want and ask my training partners (and you guys) all sorts of dumb questions, but ultimately I’ve got to figure out how my body works on this stuff. That’s why I’m keeping this record of my experience so far.

I understand where you are coming from its just that drugs like that are not only extremely harsh on your system but tend to shut down your immune system, even more than it would be since your taking aas, lets say you did have an infection taking it once or twice wouldnt do anything, they always recommend that you take the entire bottle. But anyway i hope ice and advil work and you are able to recover from this and enjoy your cycle

The swelling went down and the lump is “flattening out”. The ice helped, 20 m. on/20 m. off. Plus resting most of Monday, it was a holiday here in BC so everything was closed. I took the antibiotics for two days so I don’t know if it helped or hindered, but my gut doesn’t feel too bad. I eat about a quart of home-made yogurt a day so that probably helps, LOL.

The 250 mg shot on Sunday night was WAY better, I don’t feel anything down there, it seems perfectly normal. Thanks again guys.

Now I’m going to start researching the home-brew. I like the idea of doing it myself, so there’s less worry about the quality. And I’ve got a sibling who’s a biochemist so that’ll be a big help too.

It seems to be the same pattern of soreness about 3-4 days after the injection. I’m thinking that maybe it’s my technique, I’ll have to try some different needle sizes and get someone else (experienced) to do it for me.

I think the testosterone is starting to kick in a bit. On Wed. I was squatting 315 x 5 reps x 10 sets, right down to the bottom. Normally I’d struggle after the 5th set or so and my form starts going all to shit, but this time I felt like I could keep going and my rest times were only about a minute and a half in between with good form. I stopped because I had to do my cleans and chinups after and I wasn’t sure if I’d have any energy left-over.

I haven’t weighed myself yet either, but when looking in the mirror I think that I’m getting harder and “meatier”. My wife wants me to take some photos and measurements now, for the before and after.

Well, the pain is from too much Benzyl Alchohol in my gear. Got my training partner to shoot into my legs the last 2 injections, and got the same pains and swelling. I’m thinking of trying to bake it like I’ve read in some of the forums here. 250 for 20 minutes, and vent with a needle, is this right?

AND I’m ordering from different sources now until I brew my own, which is starting to get more and more appealing…

I weighed myself yesterday first thing in the morning, empty stomach, plus 5 pounds! 215. And my lifts seem to have creeped up without me really realizing it… it’s weird. I squatted 315 x 5 for 2 sets then 335 x 3 for 3 sets, and it felt normal, like I’d always done it.

No struggle, ass to the ground. In fact all my workouts this week were very intense and heavy and the DOMS which normally I have like 7 days a week, lol, and used to make me miserable, is minor. A little soreness the next day, then no more. Boners all over the place, LOL, on the bus, watching tv, working, washing dishes…

I think I’ve been so concerned about my sore ass/thigh injections that I’ve been overlooking all the good stuff.

The soreness will go away as you get used to it. i’m on hrt and i get a shot ew forever. i dont even feel it anymore, literally. i cant tell when the needle goes in at all. there is still a bit of soreness, like an old bruise in the injection site for about a week.

P.S. try taking a hot shower before the injection and make sure you dont just sit around afterwards. moving the muscle around helps too, i train right after an injection.

My soreness is pretty minimal now. I think that most everyone who posted their advice here was right, I just had to get used to it and find out what worked best for me. Last three times I’ve warmed up my test in some hot water, take the shot after my workout, 250 mg, and then I have a hot/cold-contrast shower. Works great for me.

As for everything else, I feel like I’m 18 years old again. My recovery from 2x a day workouts is amazing! I used to be sore 7 days a week, but now I feel like I could squat every day if I wanted to. And I’m training heavier and with more intensity every session!

I’m up to 218, this morning upon waking up, and still lean. I’m fucking my wife’s brains out every night, and I’m horny all day. Testosterone is fantastic! No wonder so many guys here stay on it permanantly.

My 5th week on and so far I’m pretty happy with my cycle. I’m learning ALOT, and I want to thank all the guys here on the forum who’ve answered all my dumb questions so far. I’m sure I’ll have many more, but hopefully in a couple of years I’ll be helping to answer some of your questions too.

I’ve put on about 10 lbs. so far and my strength levels are starting to jump up now. Yesterday I deadlifted 445 for 3 reps on my last set, and I felt like I could’ve kept adding weight, but I don’t want to push it too fast for fear of injury. My partner said it looked fast and easy. Yesterday I felt sore and today I woke up feeling great!

6th week. 223 lbs. this morning. Really feeling the strength now. Power cleans with 245 were easy, and front squats with 275 were smooth. The 80 lbs. dumbbell shoulder presses to finish didn’t feel heavy this time.

I’ve kept my arimidex at 0.25 mg e3d because I’ve stayed pretty lean, no bloat. Probably from all the running and sparring, and clean diet.
Feeling on top of the world right now.

Good thread. This is interesting.

Thanks for posting!

Jelly Roll,

Please keep up with the posts I am learning a lot from it. I plan to do the exact same thing as you. In the near future. How is the sparing going?

Sparring is going well, no big injuries so far, but it’s about to get crazy for the next two months. My training partner is getting ready for his MMA debut at the end of October, and my judo/grappling season starts in November. So sometime after the labour day weekend our workouts are going to get more strength-endurance specific.

Wow nice training program. Has your cycle made your sparring more intense? Has your sparing parteners notice a difference in you or your training?

Oh and once your done are you gonna have to make wieght? Or are you trying to get to higher weight class. Or is it even a concern? Just curious.

Keep up the good work and keep posting.

Thanks for the encouragement. I wasn’t sure if anybody was really paying attention to my ramblings.

My every-day energy levels have been higher and that’s made a huge difference in my training. I wouldn’t say it’s been more intense, just better focused because I’m not getting so tired or worn down like before. My main sparring/training partner is on tren/winstrol and his intensity is SO focused and aggressive! (I might have to try some tren down the road…lol)
The big thing for me is the recovery from workouts is unbelievable. Before this cycle I was considering “retirement” from combat sports because of the toll on my body. I was sore ALL the time, literally 7 days a week of aches when I was healthy. The only time I’d feel “normal” was when I HAD to stop training because of serious injury (broken bones, torn ligaments). Now, I’m training harder and feeling better outside of the gym too. My over-all quality of life has improved 100%. I really should’ve started using this stuff 2-3 years back.

As for my weight class, I have to be under 225 lbs. come November so I’m not too worried right now. I’m hoping that after this cycle I’ll stay around 225-230 instead of 210-215.

Just curious what are you planning on doing for PCT?

I’m going to be doing P22’s test-taper. It’s been debated ALOT on here, but it makes sense to me, and there’s been alot of really good feedback from the guys who’ve used it, which to me is more important than anything else. If it works in the real world then I’ll have more confidence in the method.

And I’d hoped to get some IGF-1 and MGF to run after it too, but it looks like that’s been tied up by canada customs right now…

put a spoon in the freezer. after injecting, get the spoon and spill rubbing alcohol on it. now rub out the injection site and you will not get these lumps.

Really? Thanks duhast, I’m definitely going to try that. Every little bit of information helps.
