Musk and Trump Interview

I heard a bit of the interview between 2 twat billionaires Trump and Musk. They laughed together as they thought it’d be so funny to fire a bunch of union workers. Fucking idiots! And some union workers are gonna vote for that D-bag Trump. The UAW is filing a lawsuit against these 2 morons. I doubt anything will come of it. It has to do with intimidation, from what I understand.

Yeah what a clown for calling out 2 fools who think they’re above it all and some jerkoff like you trying to come to there rescue, FOH.

I listened to the entire interview. I thought it was a great showing by Trump. It is refreshing to see that he can hold a conversation. Everything has to be scripted with lefties, who can’t actually explain themselves.

If the UAW was so great for its members, why are there only 400,000 today? There were over three times as many in 1970, when the USA had a much smaller population.

I don’t know about the whole union business, but the issues facing American automakers have to do with them making cars that suck. Making them in third world nations and still calling them American doesn’t make them suck any less. The only American made vehicle I could see wanting would be a Corvette. For everything else there is a superior Japanese version.

What lefties are you talking about? The Democrats. They are not of the real left.

What does any of this have to do with firing OR intimidating unionizes workers?

Looking at graphs, it seems like Pres Bush II impacted auto worker numbers the most.

This one blames NAFTA, the WTO and Pres Clinton.

This one points the finger at robots.

What about jobs lost to the Saturn and Neon? Then you have this commie’s rave review:

Maybe the union can try to represent robots.

They are the main ones causing further robotic use. It was inevitable, but they are shortening the timelines.

JB Hunt also surpassed 50,000 deliveries with autonomous driving trucks too.

Those union numbers are going to continue to dwindle and I am here for it.

If they dwindle because the jobs are dwindling, then we’ll be taking care of a lot of unemployed people. Maybe unemployable is the better term as there won’t be any jobs for them.

This will continue to happen with AI and robotics.

It will need to be addressed. Robotics and AI if used correctly should lead humanity to an era of unparalleled abundance.

Not sure humanity is ready for that or knows how to handle it. I am sure the adjustment period will be rather rough.

What happens to the economy if the vast majority of jobs are replaced by AI/robotics?

This is one of the main arguments for UBI. Many get dismissive or repulsed when it’s brought up but not everyone who brings it up is a communist. I personally don’t like the idea but it may very well become a necessity. My main concern is that it will decrease, if not end, social mobility.

What industrialized country has the lowest social mobility currently?

So is it just the fact that both men are wealthy make them “fucks” in your mind? Is that what causes you to make a statement that only serves to make you sound envious and spiteful?

As @twojarslave said, at least Trump is able to speak unscripted and hold an intelligent interaction. I remember when Trump was president (lol and Democracy did NOT end then), he held almost daily press briefings where he spoke and not his press secretary, and he took unscripted questions, many of which were downright disrespectful/rude from the press, and answered questions rapid fire. Kamala has yet to hold a press conference or an unscripted speech…why is that? It’s because what Trump says is true, she is not that intelligent and if she were to hold one of these events, it would hurt her in the polls. So, she is being quite smart I must say and taking a page out of Biden’s playbook of hiding away, not taking questions, and only popping her head out at fundraisers or to give scripted speeches to ONLY supporters who will clap and cheer like seals no matter how stupid she sounds.

If Kamala had any REAL confidence in her abilities, and how she was so much better than Trump, she would gladly accept Trump’s offer to hold numerous televised debates, no matter the network or forum. I guarantee that if Kamala posed that challenge to Trump, he’d accept in an instant.

But sadly, the American population is generally quite dumb and will not question why she is not doing press conferences or taking questions not scripted. They will just hear NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, etc all creaming their shorts over Kamala and feel like that is how THEY should feel about her. This is a population that doesn’t care to dig into Kamala’s past and see her abysmal record in California, to dig up old videos of her interviews and speeches where she typically creates these meaningless word salads or makes moronic statements. It is most unfortunate that it is these people who determine the fate of our nation with their voting. But, kudos to the democrats as they are the best at this game and really know this about their core constituency, so they pander, and offer freebies like student loan forgiveness or social justice programs, and the masses never stop to think about silly little things like economics, the government debt, or what will happen years down the road; especially to silly things like Social security or Medicare.

But how dare two wealthy, successful men hold a rational, intelligent conversation where they hope to impart some knowledge to their listening audience.

I don’t think that was the goal. This was all about politics.

The CIA tried to Kennedy Trump.

Rothschild and other unnamed .02%er’s are pulling the strings using Klaus Schwab, Soros , and other minions.

Andddd I’m gonna vote for the big scary orange man, again. :kissing_heart:

Also, all unions are corrupt cesspools and should be eliminated.

As a former Journeyman long time ago, can confirm, it is crap.
