From a second story window
Parkway Drive

Those three should make you lift your 1RM for 3 reps.

disturbed
korn
system of a down
rammstein

the first 40 seconds of “mein teil” make you freaky strong

PS. its in german dont look up the lyrics just be happy.

Rage Against the Machine
Tool
Perfect Circle (particularly 13th Step and Passive from eMotive)
Flaw
System of a Down
Bad Religion
Deftones (pretty much anything)
Prodigy (partic Fat of the Land)
Sevendust

Lots of others that escape me at the moment. Tool/Jambi and Metallica/Fuel are my current ultimate gym tunes, for some reason. These things change.

I love the group HED PE there song “raise hell” and “wake up” always gets my blood going.

It’s funny how different music can motivate me depending on my mood at the gym.

I’ve had GREAT workouts from…

Black Sabbath
Iron Maiden
KISS
RATM

and

Eric B and Rakim
Biggie
LL Cool J
Chamillionaire

to
Luther Vandross
Michael Buble
Frank Sinatra
Dean Martin

and everything in between…

Blindside, System of a Down, SevenDust, Manson, Mudvayne, Breaking Benjamin, Norma Jean, Bloodsimple, Korn, Rage Aginst the Machine, Silent Civilian, Chimeria, Snot, Slipknot, Static X, etc

Best song ever for Workout…Hero of the Day by Metallica…overall Metallica is Ok…really prefer Korn, Bizkit, and especially Rob Zombie.

Throwdown
Lamb of God
Soulfly
Sepultura

I always listen to my workout music in my car on the drive to the gym and skip the ipod while training now. I’m doing singles right now, and the music is to distracting.

Wahoo! The monthly music+training thread.

I’ll have to plug Fear Factory and Flaw.

Actually it’s the second in as many days.

I heard that one time Burton C. Bell let out a death growl so bassy that he shat himself live on stage, true story.

 That is f’ing funny.

I have a bit of everything on my ipod. Old school metal- Maiden, Helloween, Sabbath, Dio
Heavy metal-Pantera, Slayer, Metallica
Nu-Metal-Flaw, A7X
Epic Metal- Dragonforce, Iced Earth, Hammerfall
Southern Rock/metal-Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rebel Meets Rebel
Rap-Tech N9ne, DMX, NWA

I like variety when I train but I have to say Pantera is my favourite.
