Music as a Weapon II

I went to this concert in Fargo on Friday (the 2nd stop on their tour), great stuff. Disturbed, Taproot, Chevelle, and Unloco. Unfortunately I didn’t get there in time to see Unloco due to our driver locking his keys in the car. I heard they were great, though. Chevelle was pretty good, they had a few songs I really liked. Taproot was awesome. I hadn’t heard much of them before Friday, but they are a great band. And Disturbed was magnificent! Great songs. That guy really knows how to get the crowd riled up. I got up to the very front and almost caught a guitar pick. At that price (only $32.50 a ticket in Fargo, but they sold out pretty quick) this tour is definately worth checking out.

That definitely sounds like my kinda show (minus Disturbed, I can’t stand that band). I think you should get Chevelle’s new album, it’s amazing. Definitely check out both of Taproot’s album as they both kick ass. Unloco’s first album is kinda bland, but the leaked tracks I’ve managed to get from their new one are pretty good.

Are you a Nothingface fan? I got a hold of their new album coming out, Skeletons, and it is f’ing awesome.

Chevelle is probably one of the top 5 bands out there right now. Like Derek was saying, their new album can’t be described as anything but amazing. I like Taproot a lot too, but I think that they lost a bit of their edge in between their first and second albums. That definitely sounds like a great show. I’m not a huge fan of Disturbed, but I do have to admit that I liked their first album, and they play one hell of a live show.

Derek: Nope I’ve never heard Nothingface, but how can you not like Disturbed?! Oh well, they’re not the best, but they’re in my top 10.

Almost forgot to mention: working your way to the very front of a heavy metal concert - talk about High Octane Cardio! Just trying to stand there is one hell of a workout.

SATCH RULES!!!..NUFF SAID!
