I will be 40 this month, been lifting for years, decent shape. I don’t do much cardio, eat several times a day, lift heavy. Lately, I get cramps, bad. I will be twisting around while sitting at my desk, or turning over in bed and a cramp will occur in my back or my chest. I was getting up from doing decline presses and got a cramp in my abs. Very painful. This happening to anybody else? Am I not getting enough of a certain vitamin? I’m usually not a wimp, but pain is more painful now.
Do you get enough fluids in?
You might want to supplement with magnesium.
Thanks for the reply - I drink several bottles (16 oz ea.) of water a day, I’ll try the magnesium.
