I’m still here training.

No meet in sight. Not doing the Feb 20th meet for a few reasons.

I did a bench only meet back in October. Got 2nd place overall ( nothing to brag about it was a bunch of high school kids mostly, lol ) Guy that got first bench 500 raw at 275 or so. I was 425 single ply at 220 or what ever.

Had some great sessions, some bad sessions and a lot of solid sessions. Just chipping away.

Meet is Sept 18th. I’m about 10 weeks out now.

It’s been an interesting prep so far. I’ll start by saying I’ve been with my coach for 59 weeks and it’s working really well still.

All of my numbers have been up even with some crazy wild knee pain the last few weeks. Hopefully we’ll get that all knocked out soon and I can finish this prep strong.

Just some highlights. There’s been plenty of low lights too, don’t let the IG best lifts fool you. Last night’s shirted bench was miserable. Nothing felt right, nothing clicked, same for Mondays’ deadlifts.

I’ve had such good training lately it was about time something went to shit :sweat_smile:
