The kick in the head (no pun) is that the news paper printed the kicker’s name and yet no arrests have been made. I guess what’s the point if the DA is just going to let him go.

From what I’m reading it sounds like police are still piecing together the incident as it happened over several locations. the trans person may be part of the story for sure.

One thing common across all the stories is that the driver was drunk. Certainly does not in any way excuse him being brutally beaten. The POS who kicked him while down should get attempted murder.
And how come this man was allowed to stay standing, instead of being restrained and held, by his fellow demonstrators?

You know what is almost more disgusting than the fact that there is no evidence that this man was a racist right-winger?
The fact that it is even entertained as a remotely legitimate excuse for any of this behavior. Especially when it involves trying to punt a man’s head off his shoulders while he is completely unawares.
It is time to shut that stupid notion down. You don’t get to use violence over a racial epithet.

Hell, I thought “Rising” by TheHill was pretty good, until I realized that Crystal and Saagar are so detached and isolated from reality they end up talking about shit that isn’t actually even in the news. I watched yesterday and I was like, what world are they in? Do they not see what’s going on around them? I guess not, or they deliberately avoid the real world for their ‘inside politics’ crap that nobody is currently worried about while our cities are burning.
Mean while, on the beacon of free speech YouTube, someone put up the movie “Shadowgate” I was shocked it was there… After about 20 minutes in, Youtube banned it, mid-stream. “This video was removed because it violates our hate speech policy” Uh, what? They didn’t talk about race, sexuality, religion, etc. They talked about politics, but the wrong kind of politics.
As for the movie, take it with a grain of salt, IMO. I mean it wouldn’t shock me if it were true, but I would like to hear from Edward Snowden as verification.
I gotta push back on Andy a little bit… He keeps saying ANTIFA, but they are flying BLM flags. BLM condones these riots. These are BLM riots, ANTIFA may be involved, but it’s flying BLM. These therefore are BLM militants, BLM anarchists, BLM violence, BLM activists. It’s BLM.
Not sure why I’ve never thought about this. I’m having a hard time recalling any statement by BLM outright and directly condemning Antifa and its affiliated groups. Being that they tend to haunt their protests and after-protests, just would like to see direct statements flat out, in strong language, condemning them and demanding them to stay away.
To be fair, anyone can pick up and use someone else’s flag. But you do expect resounding and frequent condemnation from the true carriers of that flag. So, that’s where I’m at now. Is there such language coming from BLM concerning these groups?

There have been numerous BLM organizers who have spoken out against violence and looting, a Utah chapter comes to mind. And I know in Seattle BLM has pleaded to keep protests peaceful at the start and then during (at which point the antifa folks split off to cause problems).
But that’s the thing with BLM, there is no central leadership, even locally a lot of times. It’s so young that the extreme elements haven’t broken away from the moderate elements and they don’t want the public’s focus shifting away from their large goals onto the relatively isolated instances of violence perpetrated in their name. They want to keep the narrative on their goals, and they are doing that typically, by ignoring and not aknowledging the violence being perpetrated in their name.
Yeah, but BLM is supporting the violence. I will let them own it.
In other news, Trump does something boring and symbolic, totally unnews worthy, except the media looses their collective minds and drags not only Trump, but Susan B Anthony whom he pardoned. And the media is MAD!

I do a search for antifa on the site and get nothing…Shouldn’t there be a front and center antifa disavowing page? Or, at least a blurb? BLM is a collection of individuals under a single flag… Which is why it means different things to different people. Good people invoke the name to push for racial equality and a better society. Bad people invoke the name to commit violence and act out.
