What add-ons do people like? I used to try them out all the time but found they were slowing my PC down so I stopped even looking. The only one I use right now is Foxmarks.

They already have a few themes ready for ff3. I downloaded the space shuttle theme, but it’s too dark.
That’s the one I’m using. Looks nice with T-Nation.

Didn’t work for me. I guess I’ll have to wait.

Opera ftw

So far Firefox 3 pretty much blows which is extremely disappointing.

At least as bad of a memory hog as 2 was, websites with a fixed background image (like some T-Nation pages) scroll very slow and the new location bar is terrible for starters. A ton of my extensions don’t work which is partly the fault of the extension developers to be fair, but so far I’m not too favorably impressed.

I hope they get some fixed releases out quick. This was not ready.
The ""awesome bar will give you the websites you use the most often if you train it for a little while AND it will enable you to find web sites by using words that are in the title.

Use it for a week or two and then disable it if you don’t like it.

That’s weird. It worked for me.

Some hip n groovy dude wrote an extension to get rid of the “awesome” bar which I just cannot stand. I have my own ways of getting where I need to.

Only problem I really have is teh new address bar and the history menu being its own window instead of just in the sidebar now. Not having the scrolling issue some others were, or at least haven’t noticed it.

I’m getting that choppy scrolling too, and it only happens on T-Nation…Go Figure. And some of my favorite add-ons are not available…

Might “down grade” back to 2.0 for a while until they can get some of the issues worked out.
Adblock the background image and it will work like a charm.
