my absolute 1 goal is to stay injury free and healthy. That is one of the reasons that I am staying with the 2 day aweek routine till it stops working… I dont lift until my body feels good but make sure that I get 2 sessions in sunday through saturday… we will see how it works…
I’ve forgotten what you’ve had for surgeries. Was it your tri or shoulder?? Hope the tri behaves.
It was the left Tri to re-attach, trying to avoid shoulder surgery if I can!

Got back in the Gym last Sunday. I took the whole week off to rest the Tri and it was holding up pretty good. I dropped my weights even more in 5/3/1 to account for it. So I am moving farther up into the womb actually…not good. Thinking about getting some blood work done to find out why I’m getting weaker and more tired all the time. Maybe I just need to eat more Carbs…

Last time I was having issues with my Tri so this time I bit the ego sandwhich and dropped weight, once again, and based my max off 315. This is crazy to me because just a few months ago I was doing 315 with 40 pounds of chain. I think all the volume work, strict form, and rehabing the injury is what is taking the toll. Just going to keep at it and see if it doesn’t swing back up in a month or two…I don’t want to give up on 5/3/1 but it is hard on the ego…
