as ive seen about every movie in here and rent most decent looking ones when they first hit the shelves, lately ive been renting not as big name movies… Conspiracy with Val Kilmer… ehhh, lol.
Impact point was pretty good actually, about the AVP and lots of hotgirls in it… Snatch for the first time it was good… also rented The Day the Earth Stood Still, that was a good movie.
this thread is way too big already but now that i know it exists i rent 4-6 movies a week. you could say im a regular, or just an old fashioned nerd!
oh and btw, my ‘friend’ thinks hes a movie expert because he flunked out of film school, lol, i know, but him and other people keep telling me that No Country for Old Men was the greatest movie ever made, now IMO this movie sucked fat balls!
I’ve seen thousands of movies if not 10k but watched this one twice to make sure i didnt miss anything, horrible movie… anyone care to explain why everyone loves this movie so much?

Really? I actually don’t know that many people that liked it. Most of my friends thought it was boring. I didn’t think it was anything special. It was okay, but I thought there were much better movies that came out that year.

Just got back from watching Death Race…I loved it. I was like exhausted after the movie - its nonstop fucking action.

What about it sucked? It was tons of faced paced action and there was a sexy chick throughout most of it…
For the record - I don’t give a fuck about how good of an actor or actress anyone is. I’m not a critic, I just like a movie that entertains.

Looked like feces wrapped in seaweed covered in garbage and put on a plate at your local Denny’s. This movie isn’t for me.
Christian Bale plays an ex-marine (I think) 'nuff said. And the ending will literally blow you away.
And for all of you who thought 21 was a bit pedestrian, go out and read the book “Stealing Vegas,” which is the true story. They did quite a bit more than count cards. The movie is definately dumbed down.

I think he was an former Ranger. We need to Wiki it.
I saw Predator again, and although I have seen it many times, it still delivers. There is a surge of T that I feel when I watch this movie. The thrill of the hunt, swole soldiers being chased by an alien, thats a recipe for pure entertainment. Arnold looks swole as ever, and to think this guy is now my governor.

It was ranger. The ending brought a tear to my eye that’s for sure.

And the whole arm wrestling introduction. This gives me an idea.
If a T-man ever meets a T-man in real life, they officially have to do the Predator Handshake. Official!

“What’s the matter? The CIA got you pushing too many pencils?”
I saw Death Race yesterday and thought it was great for what it was- a mindless adventure filled with destruction. The acting is horrible except for Coach, but the action was decent. It’s not even in the same ballpark as Dark Knight, but it’s not intended to be.
If there’s a cheap movie theater near you that runs movies that have been out awhile, check it out there when available.
Rented The Mist, The Ruins and 10,000 BC. The last two on Blu-Ray. All were pretty good (10,000 BC is kinda silly, of course, but the visuals were great). The Ruins is a nice, gory movie, I recommend it.
