“…you get to drink from THE FIRE HOSE!”
I always thought it was funny when that kid spits in Weird Al’s face.

I watched Hancock , wanted, and the hulk recently.
Wanted is a good one.
Hancock has some bizarre plot twists.
Hulk was a little different than i expected.
Vantage Point
I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I thought it would be horrible, and it was actually a decent suspense movie. Good little twist towards the end, although I wish they would’ve developed that backstory a bit more.
The Dark Knight
A classic. Saw it in IMAX, too, which added to the awesomeness.
Okay, for this last week I watched:
21 - I thought this was ok. It was a little long and the end was predictable, but I liked the story overall. I really like Kate Bosworth with shorter hair.
Andre The Butcher - I’m on the fence about this one. At first this seemed like this is one of those “it’s so bad, it’s good” type of movies, but towards the end I was getting the feeling they were being serious. If that’s the case, then it’s terrible. It does have some funny moments though and the killer is played by Ron Jeremy.
Wicked Little Things - Another one of the eight films to die for and this one was pure shit. It’s kind of hard to be scared when you can’t see a fucking thing since they decided to film everything at night with little to no light.
Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon - I like this a lot. It’s basically a mockumentary about a guy that’s trying to be next movie serial killer. He goes into all the rules for being a movie serial killer and his preparation for his victims. It’s kind of like Scream, except it’s told from the perspective of the killer. I recommend it.
Extras: Season One - I loved this. It’s only six episodes, so you can knock it out in a few hours, but it’s really funny.
Weeds: Season Three - I still love this show. I’m all done with this for now though, so I’ll have to wait until Season Four is done and then comes out on DVD.
The Black Hole - I was feeling nostalgic still about old sci-fi films and decided to watch this again. The dialog is a little cornier than I remember, but I still enjoy watching this.
Step Brother
First 15 minutes were iffy, but once the two main characters met, it got good.
The Dark Knight, it was great. a little too long but still a quality movie.
Step Brothers, i wasnt sure what to expect. ive been disapointed in Will lately so i didnt have huge expectations. i dont think it was that great though.
Heartbreak Kid
Terrible.
Michael Clayton
Helped make up for HBK’s suckiness. Clooney is really good in these types of roles.
Saw X-Files I Want to Believe in a late night fit of boredom, what an atrocious waste of time and money. I’m still pissed off about it.
I guess from now on I’ll read reviews before seeing movies.
Strange Brew- very funny movie from the 80’s I think
The Professional (Leon) - Rented it with a friend because he hadn’t heard of it! Such a classic movie. This is the first time I’ve seen the Euro extended version, and I actually didn’t enjoy the extra stuff. It mostly built on the lolita aspect, and I found it over the top.
Wanted - Second time viewing. It was interesting to see it from the perspective of knowing what was really going on.
Taken - Hasn’t been released in NA yet. DVD screener is already out for the international market though. It was pretty cool. Same story you’ve seen a thousand times about a daughter getting kidnapped, except this time the dad is extremely badass. He really holds no punches!
The Wackness - Fairly entertaining, awesome soundtrack. The characters were developed well, but its doesn’t flow with how the story is told. Still worth watching.
I rolled the dice and bought “In Bruges” before seeing it, and I wasn’t disappointed one bit. It’s about two hitmen who go off to a town in Belgium to hide out after a botched job. There are so many hysterical lines and moments it’s ridiculous. It gets a little too serious at the end, but doesn’t make the movie any less watchable.

I’m in total agreement with you there. I watched In Bruges a few weeks ago when it came out on DVD and I loved it. I wasn’t expecting much going in, but I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, I may rent it again and give it another viewing in a few weeks.
Batman begins (same reason as Vader)
Ultraviolet (again)
both on Sky.
Forbidden Kingdom,cinema, good laugh!
I recently saw a Time to Kill, with Matthew McCaughney, Samuel Jackson, and Kevin Spacey. I had to say I really liked this movie. The cast is all star with good actors around each corner. The story takes place in the deep south where racial tensions have a town divided about a murder case. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who likes just plain good ol’ acting and is ok without all the CGI.
If I don’t recap what I’ve watched this week so far, I’m going to forget:
Extras: Season 2 - I love this show! Funny as hell.
An Evening With Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder - I actually preferred the first Evening with Kevin Smith as I thought the stories were more interesting in that one. If you’re a fan of Kevin Smith, then it’s still worth watching.
My Date With Drew - This is cute in a stalker-ish way. The guy is kind of a dork, but you end up rooting for him and hope he gets his date with Drew Barrymore.
The Tracey Fragments - I rented this because it had Ellen Page in it, but I hated this movie. I thought it was just weird.
The Toolbox Murders - A slasher flick about a guy that uses…wait for it…tools to kill all his victims! How original. He didn’t even use creative tools. He used stuff you’d expect like a hammer and power drill. I would have been much more impressed if he would have used tools like a putty knife and a stud finder. You know tools where he really would have had to work for his kills.
Doomsday - Maybe I’m weird, but I found this movie all kinds of awesome. Bloody violence, nudity, and tributes to Mad Max. This has it all. The only thing I really wasn’t wild about was the end.
On tap for the rest of this week so far is Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay, Never Back Down, Free Enterprise, The Babysitters, Just Add Water, and Turn The River.
The Last Man On Earth - Vincent Price
Based on the novel I am Legend.
I liked it.
Immediately followed with I Am Legend - Will Smith (Alternate Version)
I liked this version over the theatrical release.
Planet Of The Apes - All 5 Originals. Just because I was fascinated with the Apes as a kid, ahead of their time in makeup back then.
