I saw the movie “Below” from a suggestion on this thread and I liked it!
creepy, trapped on a submarine movie.
Saw “Untraceable” and that was a sad state of current affairs. The victim scenes were gruesome and I for those who have seen the movie, I can believe that viewers would be making those comments.
Silk - This movie was a total snoozefest. I’m not kidding at all when I say that I fell asleep twice while watching it.
Jumper - I kind of liked this. Not a great movie by any means, but it was entertaining. I do agree with the complaints that they didn’t develop the backstory enough though. The movie wasn’t even 90 minutes, so I don’t see why they couldn’t have added a few more minutes to explain that.
The Signal - I liked this. It was interesting and funny in parts. Not really scary, but kind of creepy. The last act fell a little flat too.
Just watched I Am Legend. For most of the movie, I was really digging it. I was enjoying it and liked the story. Then suddenly the ending came and it seemed quick, contrived, and cheap. What I thought was going to be a pretty good movie ended up just meh/
Check out the alternate ending to I am Legend. It’s a fair bit better.
In Bruges - Solid movie. It’s not an action movie, and has a very simple (not bad) plot, but if you want an example of really good acting check it out.
Shutter - Lame. Heard from friends that it was incredibly scary. It wasn’t at all. Story sucked too.
Charlie Bartlett - The one about the kid who plays psychiatrist and sells prescription drugs at school. I was disappointed because they took the approach a doctor would take. He shouldn’t be handling medical issues blah blah blah. The funny thing is, they show at the same time how easy it is to get the drugs just by telling a doctor some symptoms. So what is the difference really between him and a doctor?
Wow! Watched three movies today. I’m pretty sure I’ll watch another too haha.

Did you see that in a theater or is it out on DVD yet? I really wanted to see this in theaters but never got a chance.

I’m curious too. All three of those movies haven’t been released on DVD yet. Do you have a dollar theater in your area or are you getting to watch these movies through ‘alternative’ methods.

I agree with you that they should have filled in the whole backstory. It was almost an afterthought. I am guessing there will be a sequel, or I hope so anyways and maybe they will fill it up then.
I now crave another super power, first flying, now jumping.

Haha caught me. DVD rips seem to come out a fait bit before the actual release date.

Harrison Ford chopping down a big metal round thing so that it rolls across the room protecting him from a tommy gun = awesome.
Right now?! Nate, are you also watching the movie through ‘alternate’ methods?
Well if by alternate methods you mean…the USA network.
…Wait a minute. Are you thinking I’m watching the new one?
Ah shit! That’s what I get for replying too fast and not reading your post carefully enough. I just assumed the new one. Oops!
It’s okay.

Well, sometimes I’m an idiot, so I guess it all works out.
The Happening - I told my friend it was going to suck. He has a thing for M. Night Shyamalan. It was laughably bad. I’m going to give away what the attack is just so you guys know not to see it. The trees are creating poisons because they are mad about global warming!! Uh oh!!
Don’t Mess With Zohan - It was what I expected it to be. Mildly amusing.

I agree. The movie was slow at times, but Will Smith saved it. The ending was just horrible though
