Movies You'll Always Watch

I don’t know if its been mentioned yet but “The Patriot” is excellent. Makes me proud to be a future American.

Thanks to Prof’s endless Goonies endorsements, I talked my husband into renting it a few months ago. My movie picking privileges have now been temporarily suspended. I’m sorry, but the Goonies sucks.

Goonies sucks if you are over the age of 25 and never heard of it until now. I watched it again about a month ago and the same emotions aren’t there that were there when I was the same age as the kids in the movie. Just like the movie Stand By Me. As a kid, that movie was like magic…or crack, one of the two. I doubt I would be very into a “kid movie”.

I have watched Transporter 2 twice in the last week. The action is unrealistic and often cheesy as hell, but damn it if I can’t get enough of it.

Falling Down is a brilliant and hilarious movie. Anybody else here notice how it models The Odyssey?

Does it? That’s interesting. I never noticed that before. Now that you mention it, the whole time he is trying to get back to his wife and kid…I’ll have to watch it this weekend…

Well, I’m only 23, and I watched it when I was a kid and liked it. But I think you are right, maybe the movies aren’t bad, you just loose the ability to appreciate them. I also loved Stand By Me. I think I watched it a thousand times.

The Transporter 2??? I can’t decide which part I liked better, when that freaky blond chick ripped off her clothes before opening fire, or when the hero knocks the bomb off the bottom of his car mid air. Way too cheesy for my tastes. I loved the first one though, some of the coolest car chase scenes ever.

No. I have seen that movie several times. But then, that was one of my favorite games on Playstation that got me playing video games again. It was a game that you had to think your way through, even though I am sure the graphics on those first games suck by 2006’s standards now. You do realize those two movies did pretty well and it is one reason they are relaunched on PSP, right? It’s Angelina Joli…in shorts…with big titties. What the fuck else did you expect?

It is cheesy as hell…but there are enough explosions, guns and ridiculously choreographed fighting moves to hold my attention.

Coming to America

Most of mine were already listed, but I didn’t see that one on this thread.

The Warriors and the Lost Boys two good old movies.Just hard to beleive its going to be 20 years since Lost Boys came out

I see your point. The first Tomb Raider movie was on TV about a month ago though, I watched the first half hour and that was all I could bear. True big titties, but if I want to see a few of them ill just load up google. Hope the U.S govt dont get their way :S haha.
