Ninja Assassin is fuking bad arrrrse!
I’m gonna watch splinter,it looks interesting.
I haven’t seen a good horror film in fucking ages.Even ones that I had always heard were good like Jeepers Creepers,I just didn’t get into.I liked The Strangers, even if it is more of a thriller than a horror,it was still freaky shit.
Children of the Corn is a classic horror show.I like a lot of the eighties horrors as the stories were more original, even if the cinematography was shit.
This was pretty good. I read some reviews of it and I thought it was going to be really lame. There are some WTF parts of the movie that don’t really make sense, but overall it’s a good waste of an hour and a half.
If you have netflix, you can watch it online on your computer (one of the reasons I LOVE LOVE LOVE netflix).
Story of Ricky is the dogs bollocks. I actually watched the Hong Kong Version with no subtitles and could pretty much make sense of the story.
The whole movie is on youtube so watch it if you can
The Vanishing is a film that gets right under your skin. Not the hollywood remake though. That’s absolutely gash. Truly fucked up
The Bunker:
A British horror film that I assumed would be terrible based on the synopsis. It wasn’t very scary but the ending freaked me out.

I heard about this movie and thought “Wow, what a stupid concept!”
Then I watched it and now it’s one of my favorites and I highly recommend it to everyone, ever.
Once again, low budget but the concept actually works really well.
This one?
I’ll order it today.
I watched this one last night. It was pretty good. Thanks.

Saw this on Sunday evening. I read that it was a French rip-off of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre so I wasn’t expecting much.
This film gets quite raw sometimes and it’s one of the gorier flicks I have seen in a long time. I thought it was great, I even winced a few times.
Yes, it borrows heavily from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, so it was very easily predictable and, some say, boring but if you really want disturbing, crazy, gore-fest check this one out!
If you havae Netflix, you can stream this one too.

A TCM ripoff? How do you pull that off without Texas, a big crazy fucker with chainsaw and Jessica Biel?
LOL. I’ll be on the look out for it though.
Henry:Portrait of a Serial Killer
Scarecrows
From Beyond
Intruder
Horror comedies:
The Toxic Avenger
Psychos in Love
Return of the Living Dead
Frankenhooker
Brain Damage
There all pretty old movies but dont think they were very popular.

That movie seemed slow to me.
I just watched this one, and I have to say…I genuinely liked it. An atypical vampire movie, but it kept my interest throughout. Even had me pulling for Eli and Oskar. Good flick.
Next on the chopping block is Ninja. Not to be confused with Ninja Assassin, which was pretty damned bad-ass. I’ll put up a poster and review afterward.
Great action/horror combo movie that I think was hugely underrated and ignored:
A Perfect Getaway
Great horror movie:
Session 9
2 Great Japanese action/horror movies:
Oldboy
Ichi the Killer
I’m a huge fan of horror films and I’m sure there are at least 4 or 5 big ones I’m forgetting to mention (both western and foreign).

Ichii was okay. I wasn’t too terribly impressed. But I saw it many years ago, so I might have to watch it again. As for Ninja… Think of the old American Ninja movies. Same bad acting, cheesy dialogue, but awesome fight scenes. Other than the fighting, you’re not missing out on anything.
Next up: While She Was Out, starring Kim Basinger.

Let’s try this again…

Poster for While She Was Out. I’m not putting one up for Ninja.
Teeth- a young girl on the cusp of womanhood has to deal with all of the usual boring teenage stuff…like the fact that her vagina has teeth.
Worth seeing for the scene with the gynecologist:
There is actually a very deep history of fear associated with the myth of VAGINA DENTATA.
Many relate that to a fear or sexual anxiety associated with possible castration during intercourse.
I may see that movie on that relation alone.
