Battle Royale

That movie seemed slow to me.

I don’t know if this is too much of a classic to mention, but the japanesse ring series redefined horror in my mind. For those who saw the crappy american remakes, the plots are completely different, and the structure of the 1st film is whats really gets to you. I can’t explain that without ruining it, but that film is really great.
The oters in the series were also pretty badass. But the first one is probably my favourite horror ever.
p.s. i want to unwatch daybreakers.

LOL wat? Daybreakers was THAT bad…
I have watched a lot of After Dark Horrorfest stuff and most of it seems to kinda suck but it always has a good idea, if anyone knows of a good one let me know.

The Children.
You do not want to piss infected crazy Kid zombies off.

The Abandoned.
High Tension and Battle Royale were awesome. Dog Soldiers too. But if you’re on the subject of horror comedies, what about Black Sheep?
Also, I have a special place in my heart for Six String Samurai. A low budget post-apocalyptic elvis samurai movie. Which sounded absolutely horrid, but in practice worked like a charm.

IT - Stephen King…

The previews were great, made me really want to see it. It just couldn’t live up to the hype
By contrast Legion which was out at the same time, and sounded really stupid, had a few really nice touches.
hmmmmn I’d like to suggest a recent vampire movie that I really liked but i can’t think of one. Going back a bit I thought “interview with a vampire” was fairly awesome, but i worry twilight has killed good vampire films for a while.

Can i get some recommendations on good horror/action/comedy movies if that makes sense lol!

Broken Lizard’s Club Dread was pretty good and funny, little bit a blood and decent one liners been a few years since I watched, might have still been smokin’ the haha then.

I’m putting this here also. I didn’t even go see it because I just knew it would suck.
It doesn’t suck. These are some of the best action scenes I have seen in a movie period and the gore, while just slightly over the top, is just enough to make someone getting cut interesting in and of itself.
I have really high hopes for Repo Men. The premise seems really original, but it also seems like they could fuck it up so I guess this is kind of a preemptive strike on the “soulda sucked” side…

Cool. I thought this movie would be a major suck-fest, I’ll check it out this weekend.
