So you actually saw one, eh? I spent some time in Riyadh while working for Nortel. Walked through “Chop-Chop Square” one Friday afternoon and was told that an execution had occurred an hour earlier. I’m sure if I had come by earlier I would have stayed to watch, human nature being as it is, but it seemed wrong to go back the following week in the hopes of seeing “some poor bastard” get snuffed out.
