Willie Shoemaker. If you think I’m wrong just google his name and read about him.

I don’t respect your sport. Old farts play it. It’s no more intimidating than stamp collecting.

Wow I couldnt agree more. I worked at a golf course for a year. You just dont have to be an athelete to play. I mean we had a handicap cart for people who could not walk, one guy who used it shot a fucking 80. What sport can you be competitive and handicap?

Golf is not a sport its an activity, like arts and crafts or playstation.

This “activity” has produced most well known athlete on the planet. Ruminate on that one for a while…
You’re telling me that Tiger Woods is more well known than Michael Jordan?

Just out of curiosity, how old are you?

Look at it from this perspective. There’s this thing called the Gracie Challenge. There are plenty of boxers with tremendous knockout power. Yet, no boxer has accepted and won the Gracie Challenge, despite the fact that they would come out of it $100,000 richer if they did.

Through this line of reasoning I assert that pure boxing, no matter how good, DOES not beat pure Gracie Jiu Jitsu.

Do you see the irony in the BJJ cult mentality?

I hereby challenge all the Gracies to fight me at the same time.

If they win I will give them $ 5.

I have proven myself to be the greatest fighter ever.
Rickson Gracie would fight you for free, but as he put it, if money was on the table, he would stop when you tapped; if no money was on the table, he would stop when he felt like it. That wouldn’t be good for the opponent, I think.

I think the people who have seen my photos can answer that question for you…

For Satan’s sake, Sapp is a joke. Moves like a pregnant women. Puts on a stupid show with manic laughter and childish gestures (like ripping the LeBanner doll apart).
He is most definitely not scary.

Helio, is that you?

Rickson would fight you if your name was Takada or Bud Smith. He had a chance to step up against the best and didn’t. I have much more respect for Renzo, even though he has quite a few losses.

Romanowski without a shadow of a doubt.

Got a little sleepy on page 5, but with regards to Tiger and Tyson:
I’d much rather play golf against Tiger than box with Tyson,
And i’d enjoy boxing with Tiger much more than Golf with Tyson.

I am wondering how much you would rather play golf with Tiger if you two were betting for ownership of your house, your car, and your bank account.

and i’m wondering why you’d let an opportunity like golfing w/ tyson to pass you by. given his temperment i’d think it pretty easy to shake an escalade or two from his pockets.

Dude suck it up, every time he breaks a club, it’s less options to shoot with on the next hole. One of these times if he smacks you with his putter he’ll have to use a different club to putt with.

Remember this guy? I know if Mark walked into the gym I train at the whole place would stand still. -Aaron

Most everyone would be worried about their belongings if they had to face a professional athlete in their sport and bet all of their belongings. So the only way to make Tiger Woods intimidating is to somehow force a person into a golf competition with him and then require that the stakes be their respective personal fortunes? And this is a cadidate for the most intimidating athlete? Why dont we suggest the same scenerio with Tyson. Its you vs. Tyson and if you lose the boxing match Tyson wins all your belongings? See we dont need that last part to make Tyson intimidating. Because the sport itself forces you to confront the other athlete. And in this case the Athlete is a rather terrifying boxer. Are you really going to be intimidated by Woods in the game? Is he going to talk smack? Are you going to confront him out on the green? No, of course not, there is no aspect of the game of golf where the players confront one another.
So your concern and worry is not about the other player, who cannot influence your game, but instead about your relative skill levels.

Why would it ever be wrong to make fun of golf on T-Nation? Are there alot of baby boomers on here or something?

You missed the point…by MILES. Good job. That must have taken some effort to avoid using any brain power to understand. I wish I could do that.

Anywhoo, in terms of SPORTS, intimidation is related to the opposition on a SPORTS FIELD of that athlete’s chosen endeavor. It is not related to intimidation physically if they were seen in a dark alley. If that were the case, I would possibly be up there in rank than many athletes.

Therefore (I’ll go slow), in terms of WINNING against TIGER when the odds placed against it involve the usual scores of endorsement deals, photoshoots and scantily clad women in thongs (all that comes with celebrity), are you about to say TIGER intimidates no one on the playing field?

Please, I know I’m waiting for your response. You may have to work extra hard this time though to act as if you didn’t get it…and that may hurt.
