kingbeef323- Reading his thread, I learned that for my goals, I was better off doing a push/pulls/legs program and not that dumb one I was doing.
good tread, not here long enough to have favorites

Time for the powerlifters:
Let’s start with STB, Bigben obviously, detazathoth, spar4tee, honkeykong, maraudermeat :(, gurbob the bench machine, grettiron, Achilles of War, H4M, mahwah, kalle (not a powerlifter but w/e), I know I’m forgetting some.
me? really?
Bluecollartr8n, professor x, mighty stu, and Chris Colucci cause of his damn good work and patience in the beginners forum as well as other topics. Theres a few more but I can’t remember their names, I’ve only been on here for a couple years but when I first started there seemed to be some extremely strong and knowledgable guys on here that have since left.

Actually with the new coaching threads I think there is still hope for this site yet lol.
Zraw, rds, Stu, Brickhead all top class posters who we can all learn heaps from.
In the past I liked Cephalic Carnage, Modok, Meat .
Others I get a lot out of are Hungry4More and Storm The Beach.
Thanks for the compliment. I don’t think I’m anything special, but I try hard and like to talk shop and share some things I’ve learned and learn from others.
You look great in the picture!

How many 300 pounders do you know that can move like this?

x2 on Synergy. Like you said, astounding athleticism and size.
Others include Swolle, Modok, hungry4more, Bonez
I seriously am in awe every time I see this gorilla performing the athletic stunts he does! Just unreal!

@Chris Colucci
I don’t ever recall seeing a pic of him and I don’t believe he ever posted any numbers. He definitely gave me a lot of sound advice though that helped get me to where I am.
He frequently puts up pics in the photo check-in threads in the GAL forum.
I think he means Cephalic Carnage never posted pics. Which is accurate, as far as I know.
Yeah, I meant CC. I should have been more clear!
As far as Colucci goes, he does a damn good job.
Akuma always had good points to make.
VTBalla is cool as well.
BrickHead has a good sense of humor.
Plenty are cool come to think of it, but these guys stood out to me.

x2 on Alpha. The guy’s work ethic was otherworldly and his build reflected it.
(No, that’s not a recent vid. Everything on his channel is 2+ years old, but I thought I heard somewhere that he’s still doing well.)

This dude was one bad motherfucker. Not to mention being a Spec Ops guy to boot. Glad to hear he’s doing well, often wondered about him. A huge influence on my training.

For the record, I’m the last CC standing. There can be only one. ::We’re the Princes of the Univerrrrrrse::
Thanks for the kind words from you and bulkncut though.
geoleeman aka meganewb?
Physique wise, Waylanderxx pretty much could’ve gone pro in a few years I think. And I learned the most from Modok and Cephalic_Carnage I think

That is just crazy size and athleticism, especially for a natty. Synergy is a beast. Any idea how far those broad jumps were?
#beast mode!!

I have gleaned more information in the last two years from the member I consider the forums “magic eight ball” KSman. Whether you use gear for replacement therapy or for strengthening your body, KSman has some of the most complete counsel on how hormones do their “thang.” He gives of himself on this topic religiously. The man (“magic eight ball”) has done his homework and what’s more shares so much time to help with the never ending questions.
I am also impressed with Cortes and would nominate him for some kinda prize. Maybe a gold whatman filter.
For most hilarious member, I would nominate mikesweeney. Laughing is good for your mental health and I don’t think he was kidding when he posted the idea putting androgel into a “large spoon and letting it dry out into a white hard residue” to be mixed for injection.
That had me rolling for days which substituted for ab work.
^ Good shout with Cortes, that guy’s got one hell of a physique. I wish he’d post more outside of GAL.
Also, in terms of post quality anonym is definitely one of the best posters on the site. Guy’s a fucking genius! Good physique too.

Anonym would get my vote too - his way with words is spot on. I secretly think he’s Patrick Bateman.

I started it mid January and slowly came down from 236 and a 36 inch waist to around 226 and hovered there while I tightened up to a 33.5 waist 2.5 weeks ago. I’m now down to 218-220 and a 32.5. I’ve just kept protein at around 300 gr throughout and ate carbs and fats according to how hungry I felt, I’d eat whenever I was hungry and had a few cheats whenever I wanted them since I’m not dieting for a comp or anything so I’m in no hurry.
About 2 weeks ago I started doing cardio, started at 20 min and worked my way up to 1 hour fasted cardio with a 120-140 bpm. I might start doing cardio twice a day just to push it and see how it goes. 2 weeks ago I also got a bit more serious with my diet and only had refeeds when I felt drained and my body felt like it needed the calories. This cut has been mostly about experimenting what works, what doesn’t, and I want to get to a 4 weeks out kind of condition just to see how I’d have to look to compete.
I’m also taking measurements and track my bodyfat with calipers to see how I’m progressing so if I were to compete I’d already know how thick my skinfolds should be.
