It’s not fake. Skyzyks (sp?) is right. He was Budd Dwyer, former (duh) treasurer of the state of Pennsylvania.
I was thinking the same thing about the amount of blood, but think about it: He put a .357 Magnum slug through the roof of his mouth, probably right through the sinus cavity – thus the huge amount of blood thru the nose – into the brain. The head is (I think) the most vascular area of the body. Think about how much you bleed from even a minor cut to the head.

What is with every other person calling this stuff ‘fake.’ Do you manufacture these type of things yourself? what credentials do you possess to call these legitimate videos that have a well documented past fake? The only seeming legit commentary on the original lion video came from KAS and the poster w/the attractive blonde avatar. KAS clearly has the background on this experience and was able to effectively counter any and all explanations to the lions’ seemingly ‘unnatural, non-discovery channel’ attack. As we are left without any superior source (ie. the film maker, the ‘actors’, etc) KAS’s explanation stands and the video is REAL. This is not a pissing contest or an ego game, use logic.

Pleas read the whole thread, KAS did not manage to explain all the contested points about the first video clip at all, what he did was name drop a South African park and said he beleived it to be real, KAS did not prove anything, and neither has anyone else including me.
Please don’t diss people for coming out and claiming this to be a fake, just because you believe it to be real. Another poster pointed out that this clip was from the faces of death video series which is well documented to be fake clips, so again this statement is very valid.

I saw the name of the original video clip and it sparked some childhood memory of the ‘snuff film’ that had been touted around our playground when I was a kid - Yep, it was THAT kind of school.
Here’s the lowdown -
Sorry if this was posted already - only had a brief scan of the other posts.
The R. Budd Dwyer video is real. It actually happened on live TV. This was one of the very first widly circulated “snuff” films. Rest assured this is 100% genuine. There is another film called “The Russian Soldier” which is probably the first true snuff film to be watched by a large audience on the web. The one that probably got the most exposure and created the internet boom for terrorists was the Daniel Pearl beheading. Since then its become normal for any type of terrorist beheading, execution, etc to be broadcasted on the net.
I’ve probably seen close to every “snuff” film there is on the net, from every beheading to every IED attack. Some of the older ones are fake as all hell but the newer stuff is almost 100% genuine. Its quite easy to tell what is real and what isnt.
The guy was mushing around the lions face, arms and whatever. No human would be able to move a finger of an attacking lion let alone move its head. C’mon people its ridiculously fake.
