A friend of mine is one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. It seems to me they are the only ones who live by their beliefs. Everyone else just chooses to accept part of the religion they claim to be.
Religion was created by man for man for various reasons. Control, hope, a sense of being, to give man something to believe in, a scapegoat the list could really go on and on. As you can tell I don’t believe in “religion” in a “God” yes but all religion is a crock of shit as previously stated. There are no athiests in foxholes and belive me this is true. But praying to a statue or going to a MAN to confess my sins to…do you really need a man to say that your forgiven to feel exonerated. As an extra note the Catholics do have one thing right you gotta love those uniforms. I mean the pig tails and those knee highs man…absolutly Heaven. But thats another story. he he he
Hey James somebody should mention to you that we don’t pray to statues. Where did you pick up that little tidbit? You really should make sure you’re right about such things before stating such erroneous things. I’ll state it once more for you, as a Catholic, we do not pray to statues.
Why does anyone need a belife system that someone else invented, do you realy like being a folllower, invent your own!

I belive it is possible that we might not even have original thoughts, that thoughts might migrate from one brain to another.
most beliefs=the majority of beliefs, anyone=any person. At this point in time how many ideas or beliefs are original? I’m sure if you were to list many of your beliefs you’d find that they aren’t original. Someone else in history has already had the same thought.
To Catholic Crusader, I wasn’t refering to Catholics when the statement about praying to statues was made. After rereading my post I can see where this misconception could be made. I apoligize for the misunderstanding.
