That really is a smart solution! Thanks for the tag, mate.

A ratchet strap might be a quick and effective way to secure the axle in place too. Get everything lined up and just start cranking down, and not have to deal with finding the right band tension.

Dude, no joke: you know I will get you an air fryer to teach a man to fish here, haha

We recently replaced our toaster oven with an air fryer so I certainly would appreciate some recipes/techniques…

What are you looking to cook? I tend to just google the answers for it

Curious to try your air fried ribs. Mostly interested in your favorites of your carnivore air fried options.

For the ribs: 25 minutes at 380. Start with meat side up, flip over at halfway point.

Steaks are 8 minutes at 390. Flip at halfway point

Awesome. You coat both with duck fat and salt before cooking?

Coat, no. A light spray on occasion, but sometimes just the salt.

Any recommendations for a good air fryer? I’ve got the instapot/air fryer combo thing, but the actual frier pot is small enough to not really be practical.

I love my Ninja Woodfire Outdoor grill for everything including its air fryer function

The Ninja Foodi XL is the one we got. We had another, short and wide, for a couple days before deciding it wasn’t a good size.

That one that didn’t work was the Ninja SP101 Air Fry.
