More Trouble Than I Am Worth: Chaos Is The Plan (T3hPwnisher Log)

Eggs are getting too expensive to be on that level. Otherwise I would try.

I mean 60 large eggs is around 4200 calories. That’s pretty much super squats level bulk for me.

Congrats, Kyd!!:muscle::muscle::+1::+1::raised_hands::raised_hands:

Great to see your workout featured at top of the categories.

Still want to be you next time I’m 30.

@cyclonengineer The trick is to always buy the expensive eggs and then you don’t notice, haha. Pasture raised has stayed about the same, while the dollar a dozen are approaching 2x or 3x. It’s kinda like how a McDouble is now like $3, but you go to Red Robin and a cheeseburger is still $9. It’s the “Myth of Sisyphus” of inflation. I CHOOSE this, haha.

@sdewitt10 Hey thanks man! I’m not sure what “Kyd” means, but I’ll take it, haha.

@biker Thanks for that man! It was an unexpected win.

Slept until about 0715, got in 50 burpees fasted in 2:30. Planning on just hitting up “Bow Your Head for Grace”. Thinking of naming it “Head Like a Hole” in respect to NiN’s lyrics of “bow down before the one you serve”, but either way it’s all there. Actually went out dancing for 2 hours last night, which was some unexpected cardio. Eating is really just getting totally unsustainable at this point, as once again I got home and ate until I slept. Got company coming later today and my work/life schedule is going to get a little silly, but we’re in the home stretch for Super Squats and then I can throttle back a touch.

Very true. I have been buying the better tasting eggs now that they are the same price. I have even thought about quail eggs but I think I would need to eat at least a dozen at a time.

Bad ass guys spell kid, “kyd”!

@cyclonengineer Gotta go opposite and go ostrich. Just takes one egg! Haha.

@sdewitt10 No wonder I didn’t know!

Life remains crazy, but so does training. Bow Before Grace done in 10 flat

Extremities are feeling awesome. I’ve got this going on in my head right now

26 axle shrugs against strong short bands
40x180 reverse hyper
20 standing ab wheel
25 pushdowns
25 band curls
50 pull aparts
20 full ROM lateral raises

Notes:

  • It is done. 20x405. The Jessue Marunde number.
  • Yeah, his was 407, and deeper, and better, but I’ve had that video favorited in my youtube ever since I FIRST did Super Squats. It seemed impossible to me then. This is so monumental. I’d love to come back and hit it even cleaner someday, but knowing I’ve got this in me, under these conditions, is fantastic.

  • Connective tissues felt great going in and just a little beat up coming up. I’ve come up with an effective strategy for a future run, and I’m excited about that.

  • My right hip started buckling around rep 16 or so. Fun x-factor to contend with.

  • How about that finish?! Thankfully, only casualty was a little plastic container that I kept various odds and ends in. Using bumper plates was a smart move.

  • Pressing felt good today, but I called off the BtN presses to give me a little more room for success. And after the squats I was absolutely done with anything else.

  • Riding this high for all it’s worth. If I’m feeling good, Wed will be taking 315 for a long ride and Fri will be SSB time.

  • Will get in some sort of conditioning today. Schedule is a bit nutty with some life events, but we’ll make it work.

Glad that re-rack didn’t turn out much worse!

Love that like 10 seconds (around 2:42) after managing your way out of the rack you manage something that looks like a “well shit, that’s done” smile.

Great stuff

Sheesh that set looked disgusting.

How’d you feel going into that? Tunnel vision? Mind games? Combination of both?

Really great stuff Pwn, I should be working right now, but it’s another Pwn Super Squats post so work can wait a lil bit.

Love the latest blog post, absolute gold.

@heretolog It was an awesome way to end the set, haha. That look on my face is me thinking “Guess I’ll just buy another Stone of Steel”, haha. saw that black shard of material fly in front of me and assumed it was the stone splintering. Turned out to just be a plastic container I keep some odds and ends in, so even better!

@tlgains Thanks man! I approached the squat completely confident I was going to get it. The bar was feeling light, knee was good, elbows were healthy: it was THE day to get it done.

@dagill2 Thanks man! Anytime I can plug futurama, haha.

This is beyond insane man. I can’t imagine this bullshit from someone as lean as you. Strength to bw ratio is out of whack

@Panopticum Thanks for that man! I’ve been pushing the food to the max, and I’ve let some fluff gather, but it’s still been impossible to out-eat this program. And I’m looking to do a 5 day test run of Jamie Lewis’ Apex Predator diet next week on my deload to see what that ends up looking like, so we’ll have that on the radar, haha. Really hoping in a few months I can do something even nuttier.

Great to hear these plans Pwn! But still, you put on SOME fluff. Very well trained guys outweighing you by a 100 pounds can’t do this stuff

I knew this was coming last week when you posted about your 16 rep set. Excellent work dude.

Hopefully it didn’t startle the family or the neighbours when that came crashing down. Brilliant and insanely strong work here as always.

Absolutely incredible set, congrats on hitting it. Hard to even conceptualize how much it must’ve sucked to do.

@Panopticum Really appreciate that dude!

@mr.v3lv3t Hell yeah dude! Means a lot from you.

@raven78 Man, no joke: that happened the one night my in-laws were in town and staying over, haha. Those bumpers really helped. No one noticed. And thanks man!

@creative_name Thank you! I’m excited for the day you demolish this yourself. You’re so far ahead of me dude.

Got in 25 burpee chins in 2 minutes for an evening conditioning workout. I am STILL feeling those squats.
