More stupid questions

good day gentlemen I’m back with more stupid questions. I’ve been scrolling through old posts on this page and I’ve seen a lot of talk about PCT and about the effects on your “gainz” or whatever. What exactly is PCT and how does it work?

PCT is the practice of trying to bring your hormones back to normal after you stop a cycle.

What all does that entail though? Is it always necessary?

No

I did more cycles without PCT at their end than I did with PCT

When would you say it’s not necessary?

I need to know your definition of “necessary.”

Throughout all of the 1970’s I had never heard of PCT

When it basically starts affecting reproductive and general health I suppose?

How would you determine when those occurred?

Most everyone who takes AAS wants to do so as safely as practical. The problem is that you must take the risk in order to determine (if possible) any harm caused by taking AAS.

It seems to me that “standard” safe protocol when taking AAS includes PCT. So, IMO, if you want to approach taking AAS as safely as possible it would include taking a good PCT (among other safety precautions.)

As you can see, I don’t understand “necessary” as a descriptor that applies to taking PCT after an AAS cycle. I ran about 3 cycles per year throughout the 1970’s and never heard of PCT, meaning that I never did a PCT after any cycle that I did in the 1970’s.
