General questions about effects

Hello everyone, I have never been interested in steroids due to the horror stories I have heard about the side effects but I am curious about the effect comparison of one cycle compared to a lifetime of use as well as the effect of steroids on the rest of your life moving forward such as fertility and other health issues. Any insight you guys have would be appreciated.

I am n=1 for three decades of steroid use. Once I went on the second cycle I lost my companion to a single cycle. But here goes:

I never impregnated a woman. I have managed to live to 75 years of age so far.

Add me to your data base.

so you have only had real struggles with fertility?

You are assuming I wanted children. But it is a fact that I never got a woman pregnant, even before I took any AAS

good to know, thank you

I would have to believe most horror stories are from people who do no research and are careless in their AAS use. I’m 47 and have been using PED’s since about 40. From SARMS to steroids to IGF and HGH. I have always taken precaution with my use via bloodwork and blood pressure monitoring. If an issue arises it is taken care of.
There is obviously more health risk in prolonged use over 1 cycle so all you can do is be smart about what you are doing and have proper monitoring with your doctor and not take abusive dosages.
That being said, we are all different and our bodies all respond differently so my experience, like @RT_Nomad, is N=1.

thank you sir

One responsible cycle is likely to have zero affect on long term health IMO. The problem is the addiction. You won’t want to stop. So then you are 5-7 years down the road of frequent use and now you have poor cardiac health and your face/hairline looks 20 years older. IMO don’t start or scratch the itch unless you’re going to compete.

I know many people don’t like it, but this is a strong opinion of mine. I used AAS for a long period of time, AND I competed every one of those years.

Most of these “horrible” side effects are reported by the clueless media and drs who are still referring to outdated research. There are a ton of very knowledgeable guys on this forum that are more than willing to assist you as you learn. Don’t let fear hold you back.

What would you count as a responsible cycle? do you need to do some kind of calculation with body type or something?

thank you

This would be purely subjective but something no longer than 12 weeks of moderate Testosterone for example C/E in 300-500mg range with the optional one moderate oral like dbol/tbol/anavar (one only ran half the cycle)

and you do the cycle after those 12 weeks?

What? Your cycle is 12 weeks long
