Lol. I actually posted on that before reading that you posted it.

Planet Fitness Regarding Brandon Burressâ??s inquiry about headgear: Good question. Admittedly, our policy can seem silly. But think of it this way: We strive to create a comfortable, non-intimidating atmosphere for our members. Ball caps are the standard in headgear, so we decided to okay it. But other hats can be intimidating.

For in…stance, a top hat, with its flared crowns and swooping brims, might make it seem like youâ??re trying to pass off as a 19th century dandy. I mean, just look at this picture. Who wouldnâ??t be intimidated exercising next to this chum?

From their facebook site.

They dont allow hats.

People might get frightened.

Who the fuck trains there?

I know people that go there.

They enjoy squat rack curls, intense 50-minute elliptical sessions, and suprise buttsecks.

Needless to say, their training hasn’t progressed as planned.

“That’s the kind of sentence that when you hear it, your brain comes to a screeching halt. And the left hand side of the brain looks at the right hand side and goes, ‘It’s dark in here, and we may die.’” - Lewis Black

He summed it up better than I ever could

So bored,im trolling the Planet Fitness page.

Thought this was interesting:

the place in nyc is a joke…might be a hundred treadmills yet they have no benches or squat racks.nada. heavviest db is 60…wtf…also lockerroom only has 6 showers…on midtown manhattan…are they stoopid too?

low rent brings in low rent types.LCD

My neighbor owns 8 or 9 PF in PA and Delaware, he’s pretty stylin’ with cash. He said everybody joins as it’s so cheap, they never come and never cancel (since it’s so cheap). The equip doesn’t get beat up and they buy it buy the semi truck load. It’s a great business plan, preying on hapless losers…

I am just waiting for someone to be surprised by the lunk alarm going off, drop a weight on themselves, get hurt, and sue that place.

Pretty smart…they save money on water and gas bills by driving people away from taking a shower on location. Way to cut costs. Now if only they would limit themselves solely to natural lighting and use their exercise bikes to power their treadmills and TVs they could cut their electric bill too.
