LOOK! People who don’t think like us but run a successful business…MUST KILL THEM!!!

Come on, people…
Exactly
I think the hate for PF comes more from a backlash about the ads they run that make fun of big muscular guys, and insinuate that people like that are stupid, judgmental assholes. People do not like to be stereotyped or made fun of, so when you do you should expect some kind of backlash.

Yeah but they hire bodybuilders to be in their commercials so that is good. Those guys get paid to make fun f themselves.

With that Aeropostle shirt in baby blue he does belong at PF. And in the “former buddy” category as well…

i had to share this. the cousin’s status on facebook today “rippin the shit outta these weights ? at Planet Fitness.”

I went to a Planet Fitness once. I immediately turned around and ran out the door, pulled out my cock and balls and let out a deep sigh of relief when I saw them. For a moment I thought I’d lost them…

Planet Fitness concept is fucken stupid. They talk about “Judgement Free Zone” yet they have commercials berating big guys making them act like idiots.

That I think is were most of the hate stems from, well that and there shitty lunk alarm and work out area lol.

bumping for new pf commercial

I don’t get it. Why the fuck do bodybuilders continue to degrade themselves by doing those commercials? Are they really that strapped for cash?

…eh, maybe they just find it funny.

pretty sure minor degradation still feels a bit nicer mentally then G4P. gotta do what you gotta do for the gainz

It’s quite possible that your testosterone count halves upon entering PF. That being said, someone is making a shit-load of money out of this.

I can’t say I agree with their philosophy, but whoever runs this company knows where the market is. Unfortunately, that happens to be catering to the slowly feminizing population, who find the concept of effort unreasonable (not bashing women here, some work damn hard, but let’s not beat around the bush - the Western World’s men are turning into pussies and PF just exacerbates the problem).

I don’t even think it’s an issue of the ‘hardcore’ crowd vs. the ‘PF type’ crowd - the issue here is that they brainwash people into thinking that what they’re doing is making a difference. Sure, not everyone is interested in exercise, and that’s fine. But when they congratulate and encourage people to reward themselves for achieving fuck all, all they’re doing is creating a culture of people who want something for nothing.

I know this is old-news, but I’ve been out of the loop.

PAWP TAWRTZ

Those bodybuilders likely got a good amount of money and they likely made the same jokes many made here to their friends about that gym.

I have a friend who wants to join just so he have unlimited free pizza/bagels/tootsie rolls 1 day a month for only $10.

Not a bad deal.
