Oxygen is more essential , but you can hyper ventilate , so is water , but you can drown in it .

PROOF PLEASE that Pot is dangerous , PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE[/quote]

There is no form of smoke that is beneficial to the body.

Marijuana smoke contains a greater amount of carcinogens than tobacco smoke. In addition, marijuana users usually inhale more deeply and hold their breath longer than tobacco smokers do, further increasing the lungs exposure to carcinogenic smoke. Marijuana use is not only associated with adverse physical effects, but also mental, emotional and behavioral changes.

People who smoke marijuana frequently, but do not smoke tobacco, have more health problems and miss more days of work than nonsmokers. Many of these extra sick days are due to respiratory illnesses.

Patients considering using marijuana for medicinal purposes should make this decision in consultation with their doctor, and consider means of administration other than smoking.

Though long-term marijuana smoking may be associated with an increased risk of some respiratory problems because it is smoke I do not buy the cancer thing.

-Amount of carcinogens will vary depending on what part of the plant you are smoking i.e how it was trimmed.

-Many of the compounds in marijuana inhibit the carcinogens effects and even enzymes that are required to activate the carcinogens unlike tobacco which promotes it.

-All studies find that it MAY cause increased risk, where are all these cancer deaths caused my marijuana? It has been smoked for thousands of years. The evidence should be in the bodies.

-Even if it was a 2:1 ratio of carcinogens (this is in comparing these 2 only) know one who smokes weed lights up as much as someone who smokes cigarettes.

Smoking cigs does not cause mental, emotional and behavioral changes?

people don;t smoke 30 joints a day , I smoke maybe a half gram per episode then I will not smoke for a week or 2 or 3 . By my calculation a cigarette is a gram and a 1/2 . I think I am very typical

You will have to excuse me while I change the Prudish one’s status from . Good at debate to whiny bitch

That’s because there are hardly any studies being done. Anti-tobacco studies receive huge amounts of funding. There is a massive incentive from the government, anti-tobacco groups and shyster lawyers wanting to sue tobacco companies. Who are pot smokers going to sue? Cartels?

RE: “thousands of years…” So what? Additionally, nowadays most pot is hydroponically grown and is much higher in tar and toxic chemicals than naturally grown pot.

Lol. Pot smokers smoke the unfertilised female flowers of the plant - sinsemilla. Quality “buds” are extremely dense and full of tar and toxic chemicals.

You wonder why there has been no studies , thank the political machine that benefits " FINANCIALLY" from people thinking that Marijuana is “DANGEROUS”

Marijuana Use Does Cause Brain Damage:

The conclusion: that even casual use among young adults was enough to cause significant brain abnormalities in two important brain structures.

show me the mass of people that are addled . Because I can show you the mass that smoke pot

How does one show a mass of people and their brain abnormalities on an Internet forum? I just showed you one of the latest studies that confirms what people like me already knew: that even casual marijuana use causes brain damage.

Gee, really?? Which is why I mentioned how it was trimmed. Doing a half assed job will leave a flower with more leaves. Having a bad grinder may also leave a high amount of both stem and leaf material. As I said amount of carcinogens will vary.

It is obvious you know nothing about this so why comment?

Actually it’s obvious that you know nothing. Leaves have far less tar and carcinogens than buds.

that is an articl;e about a study , when I google “Brain, Health, Marijuana, Natalia Sanchez,” I just get articles , no study . I would like to see the study where it is not CHERRY PICKED and claims Paranoia as being the damage

It’s obvious you never smoked pot before, you would have to smoke pounds of leaves to equal the effects of a gram of bud and never get there.

The biggest threat of pot is that some one would use it as a fuel to burn some one at the stake

I personally Vape but it is not not a pot smoker sits down and smokes 20 joints a day . I would call a heavy smoker to smoke 2 or 3 joints a day

My post never mentioned paranoia. Here’s the actual study:

The fact that you were unable to find the study yourself should tell you something too.

What on earth are you talking about? You just quoted me saying the same thing that you said. I said pot smokers smoke sinsemilla not leaves. The reason they don’t smoke leaves is because they contain hardly any cannibinoids. If you can’t follow what I’m saying don’t bother.

Marijuana is the most commonly used illicit drug in the United States, but little is known about its effects on the human brain, particularly on reward/aversion regions implicated in addiction, such as the nucleus accumbens and amygdala. Animal studies show structural changes in brain regions such as the nucleus accumbens after exposure to Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol, but less is known about cannabis use and brain morphometry in these regions in humans. We collected high-resolution MRI scans on young adult recreational marijuana users and nonusing controls and conducted three independent analyses of morphometry in these structures: (1) gray matter density using voxel-based morphometry, (2) volume (total brain and regional volumes), and (3) shape (surface morphometry). Gray matter density analyses revealed greater gray matter density in marijuana users than in control participants in the left nucleus accumbens extending to subcallosal cortex, hypothalamus, sublenticular extended amygdala, and left amygdala, even after controlling for age, sex, alcohol use, and cigarette smoking. Trend-level effects were observed for a volume increase in the left nucleus accumbens only. Significant shape differences were detected in the left nucleus accumbens and right amygdala. The left nucleus accumbens showed salient exposure-dependent alterations across all three measures and an altered multimodal relationship across measures in the marijuana group. These data suggest that marijuana exposure, even in young recreational users, is associated with exposure-dependent alterations of the neural matrix of core reward structures and is consistent with animal studies of changes in dendritic arborization.

This is the fucking danger:) and Natalie Sanchez was not even the author . Are you trolling ?

Recommending people smoke the leaves rather than bud is like suggesting people
eat the wood from the tree rather than the fruit in order to lose weight

Exactly. And when did I suggest people should smoke leaf instead of bud? You need to work on your comprehension skills.
