More Movies You've Watched This Week

Very Underrated movie, liked it as well

Wolverine was decent, better than X3.

XMen and X2 are among my favorite films. Definitely X2

Thor was pretty good too

i watched “no country for old men” last night. not a fan. very slow movie, didnt really understand much of it. anyone got any good takes on this movie?

It’s all about fate and how the choices we make alter the course of our lives and put us on a path towards good and evil/right and wrong.

It’s also about Javier Bardem fucking people…

^ yeah i kind figured as much. i dunno it was just kinda slow to me. no clue who that man is .

just rewatched this cause it was on HBO… Knight and Day with Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise

I like that movie. It was a good, playful, fun movie. If you dont like it then you’re probably gay.

^^
I like most of Tom Cruise’s movies.
I don’t understand people who try and say his movies are awful just because they think he is insane.
Like any of his personal bullshit has anything to do with the movies he makes.
I do hate Cameron Diaz though.
She hasn’t been worth watching in anything since There’s Something About Mary.

^^Agreed… I am NOT a Cameron Diaz fan but she was good in that movie I thought

<3 movie threads haha!

This week I saw…

Doghouse - Pretty stupid funny zombie movie, all female zombies :stuck_out_tongue: Not a bad black-humor movie at all!

Naked Ambition An R-rated look at an X-Rated Industry - Title says it all haha! Documentary!

Diary of a Nymphomaniac- French film about a nymphomaniac obviously :stuck_out_tongue: Ton of sex in this movie with a story line that I thought was great.

Arn, The Knight Templar- A movie with so-so action where I ended up reading these forums instead. Swedish I believe it was.

Shinobi- Heart Under Blade - Basically a “x-men romance” martial arts movie type get up haha! It was entertaining but not nearly as good as a movie like Ip Man

Ip Man - watched this for the millionth time haha! Must see movie! Seriously…go watch this if you like martial arts. Ip Man 2 is so so though compared to the 1st. (prob my favorite movie at the time)

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Finally watched all three of these back to back! Loved them though! Originally I wasn’t paying attention and I got bored, really need to sit down and follow and you will be absorbed.

Lastly! Right before I bought the v-diet finally I had Ricky Bruchs “The Soul is Greater than the world” playing! Always pop that in every month or so  Great motivation!

/sigh I watch to many movies!

I really liked Knight & Day. Tom Cruise took his eccentric media persona and used it to his advantage, playing the first half as a misunderstood nutjob. That’s why he is Tom Cruise. The plane sequence and the car chase were both excellent. Cameron Diaz was good as his foil/ sparring partner/ love interest, but the film sagged noticably when he was off-screen.

Drive angry - Let’s just say I HATE Nicholas Cage now. A lot.

Now?
It took this long for you to realize his awfulness?
The man has been in a million movies and only worth watching in 4.
They are:

Raising Arizona
Moonstruck
Leaving Las Vegas
Adaptation

I personally have hated him for so long that now I just watch his movies for laughs.
Drive Angry made me laugh a lot, but nearly as much as Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call.

You are just angry that he made some good movies and decides in lots of shitty ones to cash in.

If he had not talent, you would not care.

Also, you forgot Face-off

Then, there is Hannah, about a teenage girl/killing machine and no Nicholas Cage ti fuck it up either.

Face off was sweet… What about National Treadure? I can’t be the only one who liked that movie lol

The Rock, Con Air, Face/Off, and 8MM don’t suck, either.

Not about movies so I guess this is an informational hijack. Ricky Bruch has a facebook page now and uses it infrequently and is sometimes on John Powell’s page. You should be watching “The Soul is Greater than the world” at least twice a month.

Gone in 60 Seconds wasn’t too bad, also.

And, fuck it, The Family Man is worth a watch if you are into those types of movies… and Tea Leoni was fine enough even if you aren’t.

But then, I really only left the Nic Cage Fan Club about a year or so ago.

I didn’t forget anything.
I am not angry at all.
I just said that I enjoy his movies even when they are bad.
Obvious observations are obvious.

I’ve said on these forums a thousand times that Nick Cage is the worst actor of our generation, maybe of all time. If he wasn’t Francis Ford Copollas nephew he never would’ve gotten work.

Been watching a shit ton of movies lately, and saw one last night that was pretty cool. It’s called “Ink”, and it is a completely original idea which is hard to do these days. On top of being original, it was well done. Y’all should check it out.
