More Movies You've Watched This Week

Yeah it was good saw it with my daughter…after it we were both wanted pet dragons…I usually am not fans of pixar type kid flicks but train your dragon was fun

How to train your dragon was a damn good flick.

Now the suprise to me was I just watched The Long Kiss Goodnight with Geena Davis and Samual Jackson.

That flick was all fucking right. I can’t believed I missed it all the times it has been on. Now I’m almost positive Geena got the part becasue she was married to the director but she pulled that movie off. And Sam well lets just say he was Sam. Give it a try the next time you see it on Cable.

I like The Last Exorcism for the banana bread recipe
Not a great movie, but that girl had talent.

I saw Kamui Gaiden or some shit. Terrible. There was no story.
There are people that I don’t like that I won’t even wish that movie on.

I saw The American… shitty. I was so disappoint in Clooney.

I saw Chaos Theory, starring Ryan Reynolds, last night on Netflix. I loved it and recommend it.

Human Centipede - Words can’t describe how disturbing this movie is

I’ve never seen it and you can be sure I won’t but I picked up the cover for a glance one day and was shocked at how disturbed I was by the premise. IIRC, ‘‘it’s 100% medically accurate’’(I severely doubt it) and that the idea was originally intended as a punishment for child molesters. And there’s a sequel out or will be soon.
All of that baffles me. What the hell is wrong with people…

Anyways, I saw Megamind a while back. Was ok but nothing special. Definitely no Toy Story 3.

Saw Once Were Warriors a few days ago, pretty good I thought. Some great performances and food for thought

Brutal movie. Have not seen it in a while but Hell that is a rough way to live.

Watched Shutter Island last night 'cos we stumbled across the DVD and had fuck all else to do. It was my third time seeing it and I still really like it. DiCaprio put in an amazing performance and the rest of the cast supported him very well.
Spoiler
The way the children and wife act in the dreams still kinda gives me chills, the little girl is downright scary at times. The first dream in the apartment when his wife falls to ashes despite being being soaking wet was superbly done and I remember it adding a lot of intrigue to the story when I first saw it. After knowing the full story I was even more impressed. The scene where he ‘remembers’ is also a great piece of film-making, Tense, touching and brutal at the same time.
Spoiler end

It’s actually probably moved up pretty high in my favourite movies of all time. Not everyone is as big a fan as me but I was blown away by some aspects of it on the repeat viewings.

the fighter- christian bale is really good at looking like shit, he stole the movie the fight scenes werent that great
wonder woman- the animated movie really good did not expect to like it that much
machete - good action flick nice one liners
death at a funeral - should of been better considering the amount of talent in the cast

Just watched Season of the Witch. Definitely want a few hours of my life back. Should have seen The Fighter.

1998 The Seige. Watching it now it’s freaking me out. This movie came out in 1998 and even though it was not well received when it came out, this movie is giving me the absolute chills. Watch it. If it doesn’t freak you out something is wrong with you.

I saw DeathProof on TV last night. Those fuckers edited out the strip tease scene with Vanessa Ferlito and “Down in Mexico” by the Coasters. One of the sexiest scenes ever and they cut it out?!?!?!?

But watching Zoe Bell going nuts on top of that Challenger left me with a fucking raging erection! That chick is a real badass! Too bad the movie sucked balls except for the last 20 minutes.

:frowning: i love this movie mostly because of rosario dawson, but the first half of the movie his way to heavy on the dialouge so i can see how you can say it sucked. and if you saw the movie in theaters they dont show the strip tease there ethier only in the dvd release

1995’s Judge Dredd. Man is Sly tiny in this movie compared to his recent Rambo movie.

Now I here that 2012 the movie “Dredd” is coming out staring Karl Urban as Dredd.

Thankfully I had the laziest weekend of my life and got to watch a ton of movies along with some football…

127 Hours - This was amazing and intense. I didn’t know if they could make a whole movie out of this but they did and it’s definitely good.

Black Swan - This “thriller” sucks. It might have some significance to you if you like ballet. I don’t, so it sucked to me.

Megamind - This is awesome and funny and pretty worth watching.

Despicable Me - I liked this, but it wasn’t quite as good as megamind.

Last movie I watched was “The Transporter” dubbed-over in French. (Watching movies this way forces me to quickly learn to understand the everyday spoken language.)

I think the first one was probably the best of the series, but that’s not saying much because it was still pretty silly in terms of plot. A few interesting fight scenes and some pretty and exotic locations is not enough to hold a film together, IMO. Some of the plot holes were big enough to drive a BMW sedan through.

“The Crazies” - creepy fun!

“The Descent 2” - more creepy fun… but underground.

The Social Network, great movie. definitely one of the better moviews I’ve watched in the past few months.

They showed the whole scene in the theater, unless she got naked or something and that’s what you’re talking about.
