Transformers 2, quite possibly the worst movie I have ever seen, it was one giant clusterfuck of bad jokes, Shia Lenotbuff screaming robots names, and explosions coupled with Optimus Prime saying a bunch of random shit.
Proof of Life - pretty good movie with Russell Crowe. If you get a chance to catch this I would.

You’re right.
hercules in new york. if you haven’t seen it I think you should because it’s hilarious!
The tournament…awful. So stupid it will give you brain damage.
Watched a bunch this week and last week. 8 1/2 by Federico Fellini, LA Confidential, Double Indemnity, The Third Man, Citizen Kane and JFK.
Wrong Turn 3- I liked it. Not as good as the 1st, but good
Transformers 2 last night. Stunningly awful.

I can’t even defend it. I have it but haven’t watched it again yet…hoping blu ray will make it better like it did Wolverine Origins (which is actually a decent movie to me now even though I didn’t like it much at the theater).
I can’t really say they fucked it up…because I am still shocked the first one worked. I have to give them credit for that if nothing else.
I watched transformers for the giant robot battles, nothing else…
And The Goods, Live hard sell hard, that movie is ridiculously funny.

Optimus Prime is disappointed with the both of you.

See, you got me with this. Optimus Prime and me go way back. That’s why I still bought the blue ray.
I may not praise it…but I’ll still support it until they truly sell out completely.

Make sure to pay for Snake Eye’s College Fund and purchase GI Joe: Rise of Cobra.
GI Joe equals worse than Transformers 2.
The thing about Transformers that kinda bugs me, is that some of the action is so fast paced, it’s hard to keep up with.
That, and I think they could have done more with the storyline. I used to watch Transformers as a kid, and when I think about how much information they have to work with, and what to choose as a part of the plot of the movie, I am sad that they chose what they did.
Maverick - A Western with Mel Gibson and Jody Foster, pretty good movie. I saw it years back and liked it. This is probably the only Jodie Foster movie where she looked even remotely cute, and I am stretching that. Good movie if you can catch it on cable.

See, that alone is why I think Blue Ray is making some of these movies better. I didn’t follow much of the action in Wolverine like I could at home. It seemed more fluid. I am sure it will be the same for Transformers as well.
Seeing all of those moving parts on a big screen (especially front row) moving that fast makes my head hurt. I bet high def smooths it out.

Blasphemy. That movie kicked ass. Stone Face could have been replaced by someone who looked like Duke, but everything else kicked ass. And I doubt the mech suits will be used in the sequels.
Stormshadow > Snake Eyes.

I thought it was entertaining enough… But afterwards I ended up acquiring every single GI Joe comic ever made and went through all of them in a weekend or so.
Now I don’t like the movie anymore ![]()
