More Movies You've Watched This Week

Bruno - I saw it today and thought it was pretty funny. Worth checking out or waiting to rent it. Gotta give the guys here a warning, you are gonna see plenty of Sasha Baren Cohen’s dick in this movie, you have been warned.

Watched Ice Age 3 last night, I liked the 1st.

3rd one is pretty good and had us laughing throughout

Knowing - would of rather read the bible. Public enemies- dissapoonting. Smokin aces - now that is an amaZing movie
Smoking Aces never gets enough credit. They brought all of those actors together and actually ended up with a decent movie that holds your attention…and they kill off Ben Affleck early which is a plus.

the take - i liked the whole cast; a lot of my faves; tyrese, rosie perez, john leguizamo, bobby cannavale. it starts with leguizamo, an armored car driver at home with his family, getting ready to go to work. that day his whole life changes. tyrese is so good as a bad guy you can’t stand him. leguizamo is great in this role and makes some mistakes that are upsetting but it is supposed to be about your average person caught up by circumstance so it works. pretty good.

Totally agree. Smokin’ Aces was well worth the watch, especially compared to most other action movies I’ve seen in the last few years…

That being said, I haven’t had the chance to watch “knowing” yet.

the hurt locker - suspenseful. good cast.

Agreed, very good movie, solid cast all the way through.

And Alicia Keys… Jesus Christ.

Henry V with Kenneth Branagh…started watching halfway through…think I’m gonna have to watch the whole thing…good battle scenes.

Mickey Blue Eyes…kind of a chick flick, but I watched the whole way through and laughed.

Good Will Hunting- never seen it before, pretty good movie

bruno - this had some very funny parts. it was the least funny of the trilogy. what’s next for cohen? things that make you go hmmm.

Miracle at St Anna- soo sad. Great movie, but the sub-titles were killing me.

Untraceable- was ok.

I watched "Knowing with Nicholas Cage.

I was disappointed. The premise was good but then they kinda junked it up.

JCVD - Not really a typical Van Damme movie, but if you saw the previews you would know that already. Humorous in parts. The movie is made out to be in real life, and its worth watching if your a fan of his I guess.

Flash Of Genius - I like true stories and this was your typical one. Facing overwhelming odds in some seemingly impossible scenario. It got a little boring mid way through then it seemed to pick up again but I more of less enjoyed it.

I’m not There - This was that Bob Dylan movie where Cate Blanchett played him in one part. I got about 20 mins in before I turned it off. Didn’t seem very interesting at all, unless you were maybe a fan of the singer.

Casino - one of my favourite movies - long but good all the way. I love Joe Pesci when he is the narrator.

Absolutely!

Severely underrated movie.

Rocky Balboa - The 6th installment of the Rocky series, and honestly, it still gets my engine going. I used to train to the soundtrack playing in the background, and looking at Sly’s old wrinkly ass still doing pull-ups and squats at his age just get me pumped for tomorrow. This movie is cheesy and probably should not have been made, but this saga is one of the last ones around that gives me this feeling of kicking ass and taking names.
The latest Rambo on BluRay was unbelievable, I was expecting it to suck but it was the best Rambo of all in my opinion. Ill bet he didnt say 15 words the whole movie too. Dialogue is way overrated anyways.

Fist Full of Dollars. I always toss the remote control away when The Man With No Name comes on without commercial interruption. Watched this with Sen Jr. and Sen the Third. They couldn’t believe it was the same guy from Gran Torino. Clint was 45 years younger when he made FFOD.

Saw The Departed last week. I could see how you might like it, but I didn’t care for it and it went on for like 4 hours. Then again…I hung in there for the whole time, so it couldn’t have been that bad. My biggest complaint was DiCaprio gives the woman the envelope and tells her to not open it unless he’s dead…well…based on how lying, cheating, nuts she was, I’d bet she opens it the minute he gives it to her…but…she doesn’t…then…we never see her open it, but DiCaprio’s dead…were we supposed to ‘get’ that she’d opened it and that’s how/why Marky Mark tracks down Jason Bourne to kill him?

Push - Decent movie where they fell short of pushing this concept to its fullest potential. Luckily, I think they could redeem themselves in a sequel. Dakota Fanning did a good job as usual and Djimon Hounsou got a perfect role but they still didn’t flesh him out enough. This needed better writers but it was still watchable.

Monsters vs Aliens, this movie sucks!

Just started watching WAR, lets see if it’s any good
