Pretty tired and everything was heavy. Probably from the deadlift session yesterday. I need to remember to do upper early in the week and lower the next day. Deads affect bench but not visversa. Pin presses are interesting. I unloaded all the weight on the rack pins, then press. Brutal. Was dragging after that.
I trying to catch you on the bench. Solid work on the deads too.

I’m going to be very happy if I can press 360 this year. 350 would be lifetime PR.

I needed a confidence booster in squats. Did 3 deep singles and felt pretty good. This is the last of my 90% work.
Always good to feel the weight and know where you are.

Yeah - I’m a little new to this, so I needed a confidence test in each lift to know where I stand. Wanted to prime the CNS as well. I’ll be pushing for a couple of 3rd attempt PR’s in the meet.
115 have signed up so it will be the biggest State meet yet. Feb. 16/17.

Good work OMP and you are in a great position regarding weight. No risk of losing any strength when your gaining weight. I’m sitting in the opposite spot needing to drop 15 in three weeks to make it into the 181’s.
Cali State Meet finished today. A two day event with 117 lifters. My flight was today. I weighed in at 88.9 kilos. A tad under 198lbs but still had to adjust my lever belt up a notch.
Some new competition showed up and we both beat the old records. I would have sweeped them, but I ended up sharing.
Won the overall by WILKs because I tied for the for Masters II total. 502.5K (1107lb)
Got the State bench record with my opener and got 145K (320lb)on my third.
My 3rd deadlift was 197.5K (435lb) a +15 PR
Red lighted on my 3rd squat of 165K (363lb) for depth, so had to take the 2nd of 160K (352lb)
Had a blast and met some great people.
