Montreal Trip with Girlfriend... any Ideas?

Hey! The gf and I decided to head to Montreal for a weekend at the end of November. We are getting there Friday and staying till Sunday. Can anyone recommend some day activities, nightclubs and maybe mid-range hotels? I’ve done a bit of research and like the Fairmone Queen Elizabeth for a hotel, as its right downtown.

We were going to check out the Montreal underground and obviously the nightlife. I hear Stereo is a good club but it looks like cover is $40 each night, which is a little steep. Thanks in advance!

Any ideas? Most of the stuff I’ve found on trip report sites list museums and the insectarium which we might visit… but anything other than that?

for the nightlife it depends on which kind of place you want to go… I suggest ‘‘les foufounes électriques’’
