managed to drag ass out of bed for 30 minutes elliptical. Now I am toddler wrestling.
didya pin him?
what are said rules I mean do you have to get on your knees to make it fair? is it a cage match or more like an mma match and if a mma match how do you compensate for the weight difference ? LOL
I do love my kids and I am real laid back with them, but sometimes you gotta do the “thumb-to-the-eye” and then quickly grab them (while they’re reeling and disorientated)and either clothe them or toss’em in the tub.
and oh btw good lifting.
A question have you ever done dumdbell rows with a mini-band before choked up of course? Because I am thinking about doing something like that for accesory work…what you think

Trickery is definitely needed most mornings to get any level of cooperation.
Dbell rows with mini-band, haven’t done, but I like the thought. Are you thinking choking around maybe the base of the dbell rack, or another dbell?
Actually choking the band under the front of the bench as it would force you to pull back into your hip. And thinking more on this it would have to be 2 light bands so the dbell doesn’t get cockeyed and stay balanced. I would loop each band around each side of your hand by pinky and thumb for even pressure. I am going to try tonite and get back later on (7hrs) probally use a 80 pounder.
Yeah this exercise is golden. we ended up using a 70lb dbell with 2 mini-bands that did not have alot of tension on the bottom but really kicked in at the top. we did a 10x10 switching between 3 people no rest.
We really had to force the bell to the waist which really activated the lats alot. I will be sore from this. If you ever did alot of boxing kinda felt like doing under-the-rope-uppercut drills.
I will do this on cgp day as an assistance lift done either dynamicaly or repetition wise.
Nice work Pete.
the concept 2 rower is pretty cool you can program it to countdown
do intervals tabatas etc.
I need to do more of them- treadmill kills my ankles- and eliptical does something not kosher in my
mid back.
I will say I stopped doing hanging leg raises , while following a program- and I need to do them-
the time spent hanging was so good for my back- seemed to alleviate what ever back compression is going on.
Ok.
I want all you Bastids. fischer, Meat, PeteS Eco & bunny to bottle the water from the house you grew up in
and send it to me. Gallons are ok. C.O.D if you must.
banded Kroc rows I think I need to spend some cash over at elite fts.

hmm curious. did you double the minis? I think if you doubled them you would have a good amount of tension out of the gate. And yeah, I spent my time in golden gloves, so I can picture what you are saying. My two cents is keep them as RE work, but I will know more when I try

well, any of the water outside of NYC will do fine. Spend a month in the country, and maybe you will grow. j/k buddy
Funny story, a few months back one of your hometown HC bands came into town. Friends. A bunch of the guys form back in the day were hanging out with them. We started talking, ok, making fun of, how short and stocky they were. Then my buddy reminded me of when CroMags Age of Quarrell came out, and how fucking buff and tough Harley and company looked. Then they came to town and it was like ‘excuse me little guy, can I give you a boost?’ LOL. Still, w/Bad Brains, one of my all time top ten bands…
Oh, and pound for pound you are running neck and neck with all of us, wait, did I say neck and neck? neck and no-neck.

The minis were doubled but let me explain we have mini’s that go down to PT level. The minis we used were yellow and at full tension are rated at 25lbs so with 2 on the bell and not going to full tension prolly 15-20 pds exerted. But the kicker was the flexion we got going towards the waist it really woke up the lats-- I am fried today lats are still swolen and biceps are pretty sore also.
I will have to try the Fischer rows sometime soon. Not too soon. My upper back is fried from the Krocs yesterday. I need to hunt down some ibu so I can get under the bar to squat in an hour and a half.
last night 2 mile walk. casual pace with family and dogs. Well, kind of casual. First 3/4 mile the dogs were kind of unruly. It had rained the two previous days so they had some pent up energy.
This a.m. 25 miniutes elliptical. Sled and garbage day at lunch.
30 minutes elliptical, morning news. good to stay up to date on current topics, or something like that.
right now my body wants to sleep and eat. always. not in an overtrained way, I actually feel really good right now, I think more in a hibernate, it is getting cold outside kinda way. The other night I had a 10 oz piece of salmon and a huge salad, an hour later I had to have a steak. hmmm.
Feeling a cold coming on. It has been floating around at work for weeks, so far been safe.
Made it in for ME lower.
Wide stance GMS 465 x 5. 10 lb pr
Deficit dead worked up to 515 x 3. Might keep these in for the next few weeks. Weight was easy but I was feeling like crap.

Ab wheel 4 x 15
Leg press 5 sets, worked up to 1200lbs x 10
calve press 4 x 20-30

Not a great day, but not horrible either. Afterwords post nasal drip kicked in hardcore, and I felt week and dizzy while trying to do the weeks grocery shopping. Feel a little better now.
Buzz Lightyear continues to defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg in my household!!!
effen pchain tightening up. For a so so day, my posterior took a beating. My GMs were super slow and controlled, which I think has a lot to do with the fact getting laundry out of the machine just now was a near impossible feat.
