As I stated in the top of my post ‘kinda deload’. And as I stated before, I suck at deloads. That being said, kind of like a 45 degree leg press, the powersquat allows you to handle somewhat ridiculous amounts of weight due to angle/leverage factors. 810 for 8 was challenging, but not to failure. I figured as much… Was really just needlin’ you a bit.

Ever make one of those questionable financial decisions? Still related to the fraud on my account back in June, my current insurance company was still confused on how to bill me, so I switched back to USAA. Cool, saved 27 bucks a month. Then realized that with previous carrier most of my pricing was because it was bundled with my home, so I switched that too: USAA is $22 more a month. Total savings: $5 a/month. That’s all I have for tonight.

Hadda post that, huh? Sorinex’s site always gets me salivating, then I pull my pocket out, rub my fingers over the empty cloth and begin to cry…
KMC a little bloat is fine, it is when my eyes get squinty that I need to rein it in. Feeling much tighter today. DCA sorry about the ‘lifting porn’.
This a.m. 30 minutes elliptical. Upped the pace a little over previous days and ended up with a good sweat. In fact was still sweating after my shower, had to crank the AC in the car on the way to work…
Screw all this lifting talk. Could you talk more about the sloppy joes, cake, hash browns and booze?? I miss them all so much. And talk real slow please.

Ha, you have what I call the mile long carb depleted stare. A couple of months ago this young fella in the gym came over to talk to me about the BB show he was prepping for. He was still ten weeks out, but had that painful longing, fargazing look of those who are eating only things that take lots of chewing. His diet consisted of egg whites, turkey, chicken breast, and the very rare scoop of oatmeal or brown rice. I asked him if it suddenly seemed like everyone was having big macs and fries and suddenly he got all fired up at said ‘my @#$%ing roommates keep ordering pizza and drinking beer, @##holes! no support’
skipped a.m. cardio, was up with the little boy in the middle of the night, he ended up next to me, so when alarm went of at 5 I said no way. Actually pushed the limits and slept until 6:20. Will aim to take a longish walk tonight to compensate, and get some cardio in tomorrow. DE bench at lunch.

To much booze over the weekend Pete?
That was moderate. Too much crappy, processed food was my problem. Sunday we had the little one’s Bday party, and had huge vats of sloppy joes (on white buns), pasta salad, potato chips, etc.
Plus cake and ice cream. I seriously think I downed 7 sloppy joes over the course of 5 hours. Monday woke up to bacon, eggs and HASHBROWNs (which I ate a plateful of). All around piggish behaviour for 48 hours. Starch kills me. [/quote]

After a while, though, it seems that my body kind of cringes at too much sugar or starch. Maybe I just never had enough beer.
My body definitely starts to cringe, or shutdown, after too much crap. Including beer. Definitely wasn’t that way when I was younger, I remember weeks on end of training hard on Italian Beefs, Ribs, frech fries, mashed potatoes, choclate chip cookies, Guiness, Red Stripe, Harp, etc.  If I consume any of that now I move too sluggish for the next two days…
