I’m trying out that 40 day idea where you pick a fairly simple routine of 5 or so exercises, pick 3x3 or 2x5 as a rep scheme, and repeat it day after day.

I was really surprised on my 4th day in a row when my overhead press and my front squat were obviously easier, and my close grip bench was also coming along quite nicely. My chinning seems to have gotten worse, but maybe I can fix that by tweaking the rep scheme.

Just an early report that this really does seem to work.
