I have considered doing the Russian Strength Skill Routine, but I was wondering if I should modify it because I actually work at a fairly strenuous manual labor job. Perhaps just do the strength skill work and drop the manual labor day? Too much volume tends to run me into the ground with my line of work.
By all mean do that… you dont need to simulate manual labor when you are actually doing manual labor
I figured as much, but just wanted your opinion. How much accessory work should I throw in to balance out the program? Just a few sets of rows and maybe some romanian deadlifts? Deload only if necessary? The design of the program is very Hepburn inspired, so I am assuming this should be run for a long duration.
