Modesty and Gym Apparel

Shit I wear my spandex singlet when i train. But I’ve got a really small cock so it’s highly unoffensive.

AFA the sweat cap goes. Why the Fuck would anyone care about the hat someone is wearing in the gym? If the act like a douche then they are a douche. If they wear a hat it is no indicator of doucheyosity. Shit I wear a wool cap [touque] when i train. I’m sure someone thinks im a douche [I probly am tho].

If i could afford them i would likely wear Under Armor caps.

You mean like the one I wear under my helmet when I ride my motorcycle? There is no head band or wrap that works better at keeping sweat out of your eyes…and I’ve tried nearly all of them from regular bandannas to “whicking” motorcycle headgear. I’ll gladly take not killing myself because I can’t see over your opinions of whether it looks like a “swimmer’s cap”…which it doesn’t.

Maybe some of you should get out more.

Why are so many of you so quick to judge other people negatively based on articles of clothing that you are unfamiliar with?

Is this some strange new subculture of “clothing elitists”?
Wasn’t this conversation regarding gym apparel? Why are you bringing up your motorcycle riding attire?
I’ve worn it in the gym as well and I brought it up to you to tell you how well it works. Underarmour gear is pretty much ideal for many activities, especially bike riding. If you sweat a lot, you probably need to look into their line of clothing.

That means when guys like you start calling people names because of clothing that actually does what it is meant to do, guys like me tend to speak back.

Why would a cap that keeps more sweat out of your eyes than other head gear be a negative in the gym?

You seem to be the one not making sense here.
I’ve never seen a lifter (big or small) break anything more than a mild sweat from hypertrophy training. If you are working out in an air conditioned gym you shouldn’t be sweating where you look like you’ve been sitting in a sauna for 2 hours. If you are, you probably have some sort of medical condition.

I’ve seen mentally handicap people wearing helmets while exercising and I understand they wear them for their medical condition. But realistically how many of these guys wearing these swim caps in an air conditioned gym are wearing them to keep sweat out their eyes?

Oh and I hear regular headbands work pretty well see Charlie Villanueva. No eyebrows pro NBA player. These are not douchey.
WTF?

So, according to the resident MD, anyone who sweats a lot while lifting really heavy weights that most people don’t touch, has a medical disorder because you personally don’t see people who sweat?

LOL

I think it is pretty clear now why so many of you are so un-impressively built.

I’ve seen sweat falling from Ronnie Coleman’s face while he trains…and seeing as he also lives IN FUCKING TEXAS I am guessing most here experience the same.

Damn, there are some real idiots here.

No more sweating in TEXAS.

Got it.

Fucking jackass.
Yes. I think someone who looks like they’ve stepped out of a pool from lifting weights in a gym with AC could potentially have a medical condition. Where did I say they DEFINITELY have a medical condition? My previous posts implies they should see a doctor if they’re having this issue.

I’ve never seen ANY big guy sweat the way you refer to, you make it sound its as if you’re not sweating gallons every workout you cant build a significant amount of muscle. Where did I say no sweating was allowed? READ MY POSTS CAREFULLY.

Oh and for something that apparently doesn’t look like a swimmer’s cap you were immediately able to identify what I was referring to. Quit contradicting yourself.

I’m done arguing with you over this. Pointless to argue with someone who simply twists words and doesn’t actually reply to what is said.

lol again at never seeing anyone sweat in a gym…ignorance is funny to me…

My gym shorts aren’t thin, but I get this when I wear my boxers under instead of boxer-briefs [don’t laugh]. I don’t really see how it’s inappropriate- it’s not really your fault and it shouldn’t bother anyone who isn’t looking at it.
It happens to me even if i wear boxer-briefs. wearing darker colors or thicker material should hide it better.

hahaha at the having a medical condition if you sweat, haha

My gym stopped providing sweat towels because of people stealing them, you have to check them out which I am far too lazy to do, so I just wipe my face on my shirt. By the end of a workout, particularly a squat or deadlift workout, I run out of dry places on my shirt to wipe my face on, does that mean I have some horrible medical condition?

This guy must be close to death because he is sweating through a hoodie.
therajraj wrote:

You are a moron. I put the stupidity of this comment down to one of three things.

 1. You don’t know what hypertrophy training actually involves.

 2. You haven’t seen a lot of people training.

3)The people you’ve been watching in the gym aren’t working hard enough.

Is it some kind of effort at validation of your own piss-poor intensity in the gym?

LOL @ “medical condition”. Maybe you have a medical condition? Chronic low T-Levels?
VikingsAD28 wrote:

Not to fall on the wrong side of this argument but no shit hes sweating through his hoodie… hes wearing a hoodie and sweatpants… and who knows what under that. Its like hes a wrestler trying to make weight… His body temp is up there.

I have also not seen people sweat ridiculous amounts(as if they just stepped off the football field after a game)… and there is a lot of huge guys by yalls standards at my gym(if the size of the person somehow validates it in yalls eyes). The only time I see people sweat absurd amounts is when they do cardio. I myself get damp etc… when squatting and deadlifting but its not nearly as much as when I step off the lacrosse field or finish rolling… and thats what yall make it sound like it should be. If your body drops gallons of water from just lifting then more power to you… I don’t think you have a medical condition.

As far as judging people based on their clothing/appearance… get over yourselves. Profx you’re lying to yourself if you don’t think thats true. When you don’t know a person, or you see a person walking around etc… Thats how you’re automatically going to “place” the person… if you take the time to get to know them they will move up or down in your mind.

And damn why are you raging about this thread… its basically just a joke and random gal thread.

Most people develop immunity shortly after watching an afflicted patient.

Tip of the day: Chalk is for pussies. Real men let the bar freeze to their hands.

Okay I’m a girl and I just deadlifted 185 during my strength assessment yesterday. I sweat my ass off every time I lift heavy. If this guy thinks he sees big guys adding muscle and not sweating while they do it then I want to know just how big and how much time they spend gazing fondly into the mirror at the gym. Could it be some people post stupid stuff just to get under someone else’s interweb skin??

The only medical condition I see is that therajraj seems to have clinical retardation.

Are people really this slow? Who said “GALLONS”? What is wrong with you?

Gee, NO, all of us do not judge people lika that. I do NOT look at a guy in a skull cap and think “dousche”. I see a guy in a skull cap and he is simply a guy in a skull cap.

It seems to be many of you who go around judging people to be idiots because their pants sag, or their skull cap is the wrong design to your liking…or they didn’t choose to wear a Hanes tee-shirt instead of an UnderArmour polo.

No, guy, that’s just you and jackasses like you.

I tend to judge people by how they act, what they say and what they do. Only bigots judge people to be negative by character based ONLY on what they wear and nothing else.

I grew up around people some of you seem as if you would cross the street to get away from. I am not afraid like you.
