Bench was awesome. Did not expect an increase like that. Guess that just goes to show you what eating consistently will do. DB Bench was great too. The dips were mainly because I was bored. Didn’t have pt this morning, so I was probably feeling a little fresher.

Squats felt great. SSB is my new best friend. Pressing was really awful and weak tonight. Don’t know why. Time to have a good break from school.

Different stuff today than usual. I’m at home this weekend for fall break, so no gym access. Went to the local track today, and they’ve rebuilt it and built a fitness thing outside with stuff like dip bars, pullup bars, and horizontal ladders.

7:30 mile
100 pushups AFAP
50 crunches AFAP
50 squats AFAP
numerous and uncountable pullups, dips, inverted rows, horizontal ladders, and pole climbings.

Doing all the bodyweight stuff was so much fun. I didn’t think it would be, but I had a great time, and seemed to get a lot out of it. I will definitely be entertaining myself with that this weekend.

Did so many pullups today. I was going to sprint, but there was a lot of little kids on the track, and I didn’t want to mow any of them down.

Decent session after a long break. Squats felt better than before, but still pretty bad. Upping my conditioning a lot due to changing goals(ROTC).

Thanks man. It was probably stupid of me to get that heavy today, seeing as how I had PT this morning and ROTC lab this afternoon, but fuck it, I don’t care. I was having too much fun to stop. Yeah dude. I understand where you’re coming from. I lift on my off days from lacrosse practice and some days, especially on squats, I’ll push out extra reps when I know its probably not gonna be fun for me at practice the next day. Haha. Cant blame you on the intensity and having the place to yourself must have been sweet!

How do you like the trap bar deads? I just started a new cycle of 5/3/1 and am using BBB. Used deficit deads once, I dont know if im really feelin them or not. Was thinking maybe BBB trap bar deads. Is the trap bar 45lbs btw?

I like the trap bar deads. They seem to have a decent carryover to both my squat and dead. Because they start higher, it’s definitely different from a regular dead. I’d say give em a shot, at the stage you’re at(me too) anything will work, so just find something you can progress on as quickly as possible and make sure it’s an exercise you enjoy and doesn’t cause pain.

I rotate exercises so often, that it’s just another weapon in my arsenal. And yeah, I’m almost 100% sure that the trap bar weighs 45lbs.

Yeah man, Emmure and VOM are sick. Haven’t listened to the others, I’ll have to give them a shot. I’ve probably got so many bands that people haven’t heard of it’s ridiculous. I’m almost always listening to something new.
