No training today. Went mountain biking for the first time. Holy shit that stuff is hard. My conditioning was fine, but it was super difficult. Only ate shit a couple of times and the guys said I did a good job. Legs will probably be fried tomorrow, so I’m planning on doing bench tomorrow.

Bench felt strong, might have had a solid attempt at 4 reps, but no spotter made me play it safe. My face is my money. Everything else felt like it was doing exactly what it was supposed to: helping the big stuff. I haven’t done any PT test stuff over the summer, so I’m going to start working it back in. When I can knock out 60 or so pushups or situps nonstop, I’ll definitely be in the region to max the test.

Felt good today, nice and strong. Painful pump on biceps. Intervals are more fun than just riding and get me tired quick. Have a bit of an ailment with my abs/situps, so I’m going to hit up a doctor soon and get that looked at. Weighed myself with my pockets full, clothes on, and full of food and water, and weighed 196. So I’m guessing my morning weight at 191 or so. I’ve been eating a lot consistently, strength is going up, and I’m bigger and leaner than ever, so if I weigh less on the scale, I’m not worried.

Squat was tough, but I expected it to be. Happy with this round of prs, and will hit some higher rep ranges soon. Chins were good, completely deadhang and strong. The iso row was stopped after 1 set, due to ab issues. Shrugs were heavy but good. Going to pound my shrugs and rows and watch my deadlift go up.
So I’m relatively sure I either have a hernia or some other malady with my abdominal. Made an appointment but it’s not til mid August. Going to abstain from exercises that aggravate it(read situp) until I get some type of diagnosis. I don’t want to copout of part of PT, but I honestly cannot do a situp or ab movement at all without debilitating pain.

The 275 was stupid easy and not a pr, but I couldn’t go any further due to the horrible pain in my abdominal. Back squats don’t aggravate it, but now front squats can be added to the don’t do list. Did the raises and swings the right way and didn’t go too heavy. My shoulders are thrashed.

The rows were a little sloppier than wanted. I haven’t DB benched in a while, and it shows. Those should help my bench off the chest. Good pump on the other stuff. The hill sprints sucked so bad. I don’t understand how people say they do like 15-20 hill sprints. If I’m really going all out, I can barely stand after 4.

Yeah, I’m fat and sassy. Working on it now. The squats sucked because of said condition. Took it easy because I’m feeling worn down. Really tried feeling the curls.
Pretty good day overall. Finally accepted that being conditioned is better than being fat, and there’s no excuse other than laziness. Weights were low today, but hit a good amount of volume. Cleans were tough due to lack of grip strength, but that will come quickly.
