Ok dickey fucking sucks
Minnesota is one odd team to watch: 1 insanely good player and the rest are all terrible
Sources say the guys involved in the Biogenesis case will be suspended after the all star break and that they are trying to push 100 game suspensions on A-Rod and Braun.
Only plus side of this year for me thus far: Colby Rasmus is looking really good, at least to the halfway point.
Close to elite defense, on pace to hit 32HRs, above average walk rate and good speed on the basepaths (though he doesn’t steal bases).
Still strikes out in every 3 at bats, but he’s been an above average regular so far.

God lets hope Melky isn’t one of them…

Guy on the radio here made a good point - he was saying they haven’t failed a drug test. Chances are, they’ll appeal the suspension and Braun will evade suspension…again!
If they haven’t failed a drug test, is some guy being squeezed down in Miami really enough evidence?
Don’t get me wrong, I think they’re all guilty, just wondering what the players association will have to say about it, as well as MLB’s arbitrators.
I’m so excited I got to see a no-hitter in person!!! Not!!! Fuck this terrible team called the Padres. There is no doubt in my mind they are the worst team in baseball right now. I’m boycotting the rest of the year, not going to any more games. It’s pretty pathetic that your home games are filled with a bunch of opposing team fans. The Padres pitching staff is complete garbage. Volquez has to be one of the worst starting pitchers in baseball. He wouldn’t even be in the majors if he played for another organization. The fucking hitting is a joke. Couldn’t get a fucking hit off of Lincecum, really. I know the guy use to be good, but come on. Has he even made it into the 8th inning this year so far? Sorry for the rant, but i’m just embarrassed to be a fan.

Pretty much. The Padres are making the Giants look like the cream of the crop. There is no way in hell i’m watching the game today, lol. I got better things to do.

I have him on my fantasy team for the second year in a row. Ill take the hrs.
How about Chris Davis? Lets say he’s clean for now until proven otherwise. If not for the steroid era he would be all the talk right now. On a good pace to challenge Maris’ 61. What if he breaks it? Would you guys feel he’s the “true” single season hr king? Was his moment robbed by Sosa, McGuire, Bonds, or were they just doing what everyone else was to stay at the top of the game? I think the chances are obviously slim that he does it but i’m rooting for him. It would be an interesting conversation if so.

Hey my Rangers have 54 wins going into the break. Pats Braves aren’t doing so bad either. Fuck the Giants.
Who you guys got winning the All Star game? I’m going for NL again. Their hitting isn’t as strong as the AL, but I think their pitching will take care of business like it did the last three years. AL has only two runs in the last three games.
I’m also curious when they are going to have an All Star game in San Diego again. We have had the new ballpark for 9 years. It would be really sweet to see a home run derby there and to see if anybody can hit the ball over the western metal supply building in left field.
Braun suspended now for 65 games. Not surprising he was suspended. I’m more surprised that Selig cut him a deal for 65 instead of going after the 100 they originally wanted. The Brewers already suck this year so it’s not a big loss. He’s not getting paid the rest of the year, but he still has that big contract.

I wonder how baseball is feeling about the idea that none of these dudes tested positive, and were only caught because someone rolled on them. The heat is going to ratchet back up on anyone even remotely suspicious numbers wise, fair or not(we’ve known this since the initial reports came out, but ‘casual’ fans are just now finding it out and are going to arm themselves with all the skepticism they can just as they were probably starting to feel good again).
I’m kind of curious if Braun is going to apologize and maybe make a nice gesture to the dude he got fired when he first tested positive for PEDs. I thought I remember hearing the guy got fired that handled the sample “improperly.”
Wow heck of a see-saw game today huh, Raj ?
;-)))
The Braves are killing me. And fuck Fredi Gonzalez.

Oh I mentally checked out of the 2013 season weeks ago.
Haven’t checked in on this thread in a while, some people are theorizing Arod will be banned for life. I guess it doesn’t really matter since his career was done anyways with all the injuries.
