Yet another Cardinals pitcher, Michael Wacha, will make his big league debut tomorrow night. He’s supposed to be special. Here’s the interesting thing, the Cards couldn’t have drafted him without the extra draft spot they got from the Angels after the Cards made Pujols a qualifying offer that he refused. I hope he gives me yet another way to put a positive spin on Pujols’ leaving.[/quote]
Very interesting pitching match up tonight between Cardinals and Diamondbacks. Michael Wacha will be going up against the Arizona rookie Tyler Skaggs. I can’t remember ever having more fun watching pitchers than I have this year will all of the rookie sensations.
43% of Torontos payroll is on the DL or in the minors

Who are you? Ramon Ortiz? Quit crying about it.
Hey Raj, so I was going through some old private messages of mine looking for something that The Hallowed sent me a couple years back and I came across that series of PMs you and I had about the THC-infused booze. Man, I totally forgot about that! I saw that picture you sent me and I just started laughing my ass off! I can totally picture how fucked up you must have been! I’ve been there myself plenty of times. Good shit, man.
I really miss the PM function. I think I’m going to start a thread about it.

Ha!
Yeah, I do remember that. Almost ended up taking my friend to the hospital.
Holy crap!
Remember at the beginning if the season I posted that suspension rumour?
It’s about to happen!!!

Can they really suspend Melky twice?
I doubt it, but then again it’s the blue jays so probably
ESPN listed the following players among the potential targets for discipline: Braun, Rodriguez, Melky Cabrera, Bartolo Colon, Yasmani Grandal, Nelson Cruz, Francisco Cervelli, Jesus Montero, Jhonny Peralta, Cesar Puello, Fernando Martinez, Everth Cabrera, Fautino de los Santos and Jordan Norberto.
Ban Braun and A-Rod for life.
Braun essentially stole an MVP trophy. Dude was on PCT when he hoisted that motherfucker up.
It’s time for a systematic cleanse in baseball, and it starts NOW.

There’s no PC BS in this thread right? A lot of those names are international players. I think these guys don’t feel as integrated into the US culture, and subsequently don’t think they’re as restricted by the rules and moral code in the US. I don’t believe they carry any kind of grandeur attitude, just that they don’t really know any better.

They definitely know better. It probably has more to do with the desperation a lot of these international players who come from some seriously shithole conditions have because they want to keep being MLB players and keep making money. While I doubt a lot of them have the ‘Oh I won’t get caught, I’m the exception attitude’ they probably think the risk is 100% worth it because the alternative of being back home is far worse. No PC BS of course.
Also, I’m here to facilitate any and all California to New York internet high fives as a third party.

Don’t tell that to Rasmus. DId you see the stank eye he put on left field?
In Toronto, that shit is in the second deck. And Torres’ homerun is off the windows of that stupid fucking hotel.
LOL. Bautista and Encarnacion are totally mystified by those two that didn’t get out. I think the Giants can cross them off their list of potential free agents to go after.
