I wish their were some angels fans here. 10 games back in May with that roster is unbelievable. Looking forward to the rangers a’s series. I think the rangers hot start is for real (ofcoarse) mostly due to the pitching looking a s solid as it ever has. Just hoping they can put some space between them and oakland before beltre and cruz inevitably go down for hamstring pulls.
And i am patting myself on the back for selecting matt harvey early in my fantasy draft.

It’s really not that unbeleivable given then circumstances.
Pujols has foot and knee issues.
Hamilton couldn’t see a neon colored beach ball coming down the pipe this year.
CJ Wilson is a horribly overrated pitcher who is proving that he is really a #3 at best.
Weaver is out.
The rest of that SP staff is complete garbage.
Tommy hanson? Really? Who thought this was going to work? Bring a guy over from the NL who had TJ’s, has back and shoulder issues and had to alter his throwing motion to prevent further injury…
You are basically left with a team that consists of mike trout and mark trumbo trying to win games for the rest of the 25 man roster.
This team was really only ever good if Pujols (who is now in his 6th consecutive year of declines in avg and obp) was at 100% all year, and hamilton miraculously played 155 games to the best of his ability (which is the crapshoot of all crapshoots given his track record with everything from injuries to drug relapses).
I think the media and everyone is guilty of just looking at names and salaries on this one.
Well Morrow’s start tomorrow is being pushed back to Saturday against the Yanks.
Looks like tomorrow’s start between Vogelsong and Ortiz (AAAA guy) will be a firework show.

He was a keeper of mine from last year…congrats
First impression of seeing Dickey live and in person:
Those knucklers look like soft tosses. Feeling like they should be crushed

I’ve barely been paying any attention to it. I’m trying to pour cement in the driveway I’m building in front of my house before the Warriors game starts. I took a short break to lambast Push over in a PWI thread, but that’s about it. You know, physical labor? Ever done it before? Maybe you will when you finally own your own home, too.

Ha, well at least we’re cheering for the same team in that series.
I hate the spurs

From this post I expected him to get shelled for like 9 runs in 2 1/3 or something.

Two errors and a botched double-play led to six runs in the first. Not that he pitched through that adversity or anything, but he was hardly getting shelled out there. A bunch of groundball singles aided by poor defense in the first, and then they just stuck with him a little longer than they should have later in the game, given that their bullpen needs as much rest as possible with a series coming up in Colorado after this one.

Ah, ok, I saw the line and thought 5 earned runs in 5 2/3 innings is bad, but not that bad. Makes more sense now.

Note the time of the post.
He did end up settling down, but they crushed the bullpen too.

What do you expect? He’s been a joke since he joined the Giants.

I guess you must have missed all three rounds of the postseason last year. Typical of a Padres fan.
Kershaw now owns the lowest ERA among all qualified starters. 64ip this season.

Pedro Had a costly error then padded his stats in the 9th against the mop up guy.
Melky had a great game though, but something sort’ve weird from last night. After his suspension from last year he left in such a hurry he left all his batting equipment.
So today they delivered it to him and all the damage he did last night was using one of his bats from last year.
