MLB 2011 Part Two

Teach me how to Freese

Teach me how to Freese

Think about tomorrow’s game for Texas

Nelson Cruz has a groin strain

Mike Napoli will be playing on one leg.

Texas is probably disheartened as fuck.

That game just took 10 years off my life. Ogando has sucked balls in the World Series, Wash needs to stop putting him in. Oliver was also a huge mistake. So many stupid errors on both teams. AHHHHHHHHHH can’t believe the Rangers lost. I can’t even watch the postgame.
I disagree.

Iit’s too late to switch it up now. Ogando has been good all year, have to stick with who got you there.

down to their last FUCKING strike twice and they come back to tie the game up twice. FUCK YOU!!

The greatest world series of alltime is the 2001 diamonds vs yankess but 10 years later the 2011 world series might eclipse it. Hopefully we have an amazing game 7. I love these type of comebacks cause it teaches you to never give up and you can apply to life. Cards have heart.

They were only down by 3 runs at the most in the game and were only down a game in the series. It’s not like it was a monumental comeback.

They just had the advantage of batting last. Which comes down to this. Could the All-Star game have played a part in deciding who won the World Series? Both teams each stole a game on the road. It just seems silly that a game in the middle of the season filled with players from every team decides who gets homefield advantage in the World Series. No other sport is stupid enough to do that.

Anyways, I think Cardinals win game 7 because they are at home and just had the momentum swing their way. I think the Rangers will be emotional exhausted after losing that game.

holy shit. that was crazy. I walkted into some bar during the 9th and apparently had missed some epic-ness and comebacks and whatnot. The whole bar was nuts though, and this is in CHICAGO, lol. No one gives a shit about either team here, but everyone was glued to the screen,.

Seriously, for two teams that most baseball fans were “disappointed” to see make it to the World Series, they have done a fantastic job entertaining.

Hopefully tonight is serious icing on what has already been a fantastic cake.

I am completely luke warm to both teams, but DAMN!!

Mad props to the St. Louis fans, as well. I still don’t have a stake in either team winning tonight, but those fans deserved that win last night.

Worst loss I have ever witnessed as a Ranger fan. Incredible game, gotta give it to the Cards. One thing I don’t understand is why Beltre didn’t throw home on the grounder to third in the 10th. The guy was barely half way down the line when he fielded the ball.

This WS has been horrendous from a baseball purist POV, but one of the best in recent memory based on the entertainment.

And even with that dumb video posted ^^ up there. God bless mariano rivera. After last night’s game I will argue that Mo should be the MVP of the 2011 WS lol

Wooooooooooow.

Is anybody else watching this?
YES! What a fucking game! Can’t say we got a cheap WS…Awesome stuff… I don’t have a stake in either team per se, but that was just raw baseball beauty. I am pulling for the Rangers, but you gotta give props where they are due. What a job the Cardinals did. On the brink of going home sad twice, forced a game 7…Baseball doesn’t get better than this.

I’ll take passion and excitement any day over perfect execution. Hell, is there any such thing as perfect execution? All the guys with great chops are watching this game from home.

Some of the best games are. Do you remember the 2004 ALCS? Assuming you didn’t smash your head against a rock in hopes of erasing that year, it was an entertaining as hell series even though it didn’t fit the ‘purist’ fans taste.

Pitching was pretty horrendous for much of that series.

Something funny I heard on the radio. Have you guys noticed how much camera time they give Nolan Ryan? It’s bordering on absurd, who the hell wants to see him in between every pitch?

Also it’s as if the STL Cards management does not exist. Can anyone remember even seeing the Cards owners on camera?

Ya it does get annoying. Same with how often they show Wahington trying to get him running in place again. it’s like it’s the coolest thing to do in highschool or something. If you want to give them the benefit of the doubt, The cards managment does not have any hall of fame players with the strikeout record and 7 no-no’s. A HOF player and state legend owning the team is really unique in baseball today.

Yeah, he ain’t much to look at.
