How do i play MKV files? Divx and vlc wont do it…

Odd. Usually, VLC is the default player for a MKV. Try MKV player. Is the file corrupted in anyway?

No reason vlc should not. Almost every file I play is an mkv and VLC plays them all excellently.

Also might be a codec problem. Try downloading the latest Klite pack and see if that fixes it.

I sometimes have problems playing mkv files. It’s not that they don’t play, it’s that sometimes they get choppy or laggy. I do have the latest codecs.
